    GLA, GLD and a possible GSM

    I've seen this confusion so many times that, since here i can also post topics regarding english version discussions, i thought it would be worth posting.

    Is there any chance of we having GLD (goldsmith) change to GSM, to match BSM (blacksmith) abreviation and avoid confusion regarding GLA (gladiator)?

    having GLA and GLD actually fitting gladiator as abriviation is not only troublesome for discussions (sometimes we don't really know if the player is talking about one with the wrong abreviation or the other) but also is problematic regarding armor affinity...afterall pretty much no armor other than "All Classes" ones really fit both classes, what makes a mistakenly bought armor not being usable at all.

    That'd be nice; I've never seen a new player not immediately jump to GLD on assumption, either.

    Yeah, I know I was confused starting out. It's part of why I correct it whenever I see it now. That, and I've always been a smart aleck.

    Yes please, I only recently discovered there was a difference between the two haha. I've always thought both were Gladiator :S

    What I think would be the least confusing out of any of this mess is having small symbols or images which represent each class. A lot of other MMOs do that, I think.

    But for now, I think I'd prefer goldsmith being GSM as well.

    Just giving it a bump because i think it does is a localization problem since these abreviations are troublesome at english version only. Maybe localization team mistakenly skipped this topic ^^:

    I'd really like to see that change as well. GLA just looks (and sounds (Yes, I know I'm not supposed to pronounce it!)) weird to me.

    edit: I just noticed the OP isn't even suggesting to change GLA to GLD but only to change GLD to GSM. A major oversight!
