    Reduce Guildleve timers!

With the adjustments of patch 1.18 linking leves isn't very beneficial, and you only are granted your bonus for completion. It's time to reduce the timer on the issuance reset!

I would like to see the reset timer be totally abolished. But even if they were on a 2hr reset it would make FFXIV more accessible to all players!

To balance things, keep the gil/item/guild point reward on a long timer that way to avoid further inflation. or just reduce them all together.

Yoshi P stated that guildleves are no longer the heart of FFXIV, that they are now a system for solo players to advance their class selections. The timer now dictates when and when class I level, which is a hinderance to a style of gameplay.

For instance: Yesterday I picked up 5 leves for my lancer and 3 for my conjurer. I finished off all 8 leves in a course of a few hours. Over all I had a fairly productive session. Today I log in and only have a hour to play. This would be the perfect opportunity to do a few leves. But there is still 8 hours until the reset.... I can go and grind on mobs for a hour and get a little SP. I can run (on foot) and complete a quest or two for some SP. I can search for a PT to join (there are none!) or I can craft, but I don't want/like to craft. SO that leaves me, who wants to skill up my conjurer with nothing substantial to do for 8 hours until leves reset.

Guildleves should be a on demand or on a very short reset timer, so when you do log in and have minimal amounts of time to spend you can at least pick up a few leves and tele to the camp and advance a little bit. Even if you had a whole day to spend in game. Leves should still be available to you when you want. There is no guarantee that 3-7 other people want to get together and tackle a dungeon, or maybe it's just on of those days (and there are a lot) when the stars don't align just right and you get a SP grind PT.

Leves need to be ALWAYS available.

I will somewhat agree here. By that I mean I'm not convinced that leves need the timer abolished, or even on that short of a cooldown. I do think there is too much time between too few leves, though. Perhaps doubling the leves I can pick up and halving the timer and gil reward would suffice. Being a solo casual player, 16 leves in 18 hours sounds about right to me. Even every 24 hours wouldn't be horrible. That way, no matter which days I am able to log in, I should have some leves waiting to be picked up.

16 guildleves would take a while to get through sure. However, whats the point of having a hard cap on the amount of available leve per day? Especially with the 1.18 changes? It serves more a hindrance than anything.

Its available content that is tightly restricted, but FFXIV desperately needs.

What if the reset timer was on a per leve basis. lets say there are 12 total rank 30 leves in Limsa Lominsa. You pick up 3, complete those 3, now those aren't available again for 36 hours (current reset) but you still have 9 leves left at the adventures guild. As well as all the R30 leves in Grid and Ul'dah.

More available content, but not repeatable for an extended time.
And you have content available for multiple ranked classes. since you have r1 r10 r20 r30 r40 leves all available on their own timers.

    Just a thought.

But the more we have available the better for everyone. It keeps us in game with something to do for extended periods of time, when it a slow day.

I mainly thought the only reason guildleves were 36 hour reset was so that at one reset is for one time group of people and the other reset is for another. So the 5pm reset might be better for me since I'm PST and thats a good time, but the other reset is 5am for me, obviously better for early morning east coasters and those in japan.

I think the limit has to do with gil reward. Even with reduced gil reward, gil flow into the game economy is already too abundant as is. No limit on leve = no limit on gil flow = faster inflation.

what if the item and gil rewards are left on a 36 hour timer. but make leves available as repeatable only with SP reward untill the reset?

There is no reason why this now "solo content" should be restricted the way it is.
