Eikon stuff from gordian i190 gear
First desynth in 3.2
Ravanah AST weapon
Got 3 HQ eikon mythrite
Got 2 more from eso accessories
eikon fiber NQ x6 from gordian i190 also.
Has anyone found a good way to level up desynth beyond l180? The i150 vendor item only give 0.01 exp and eso gear/dungeon drops have a very low chance to desynth.
I've done no research and have only logged in for an hour or so in the past few months, but I'd guess your options include grinding A1-A4 and then trading in the tokens for Gordian equipment to desynth and the Eso for cheapish gear to desynth. If you go this route, be sure to use Tinker's Bacon! At dSkill 180, you'd only have a 40% chance to desynth the Prototype Gordian gear, raisable to 55% with Tinker's Bacon. Not amazing, but you should level very fast. You'd want to hold on to the Eso gear until you were closer to dSkill 200, where you get a 65% chance with Tinker's Bacon (50% without).
The new dungeon gear is r195. I would not recommend desynthing them until closer to dSkill 200, but sooner than the Eso gear if you're dealing with that as well. The gear from the 3.1 dungeons is a better bet at r185.
If you play PvP and are working on ARM desynth, consider the Shield of the Behemoth King. I don't know how expensive it is, but it's r180 and should be the cheapest at that tier.
If Dawnborne Aethersand is cheap on your server (which I kinda doubt, but I dunno how markets have changed), then I perhaps someone should check out the former Specialist Anima Weapon recipes for the four classes that do the initial craft, like Blessed Fletching for WVR, Moogle Miniature for GSM, etc. The only expensive mat is the Dawnborne. That said, those might only be r160, I'm not sure. If so, they aren't worth it. Actually, come to think of it, if 60* items are all r160 and 60** items are only r180 (which would fit the established pattern), that means crafted items are pretty worthless for desynth leveling.
Every crafter class has a new 60** crafted item in the Master Book IV that is really easy to craft and quicksynthable (with crazy Craftsmanship), seemingly perfect for desynth leveling.... except they are all non-desynthable. Very annoying. Those items seem to only exist for spiritbonding the i170+ crafter/gatherer gear.
Honestly, I don't know what else to do for desynth... None of what I posted above is particularly good. Anyone have any good ideas?
Yasha items were moved to a Centurio seal NPC. That's a good place to start.
If you were stupid enough to farm A1 for relic, then those tokens will come in handy for GSM, LTW and ARM.
Eso tomes are everywhere with new player bonuses. If you're not the crafting type, you can buy desynthing gear with it (best bet for ALC).
CUL has it the easiest. Buy blue scrip fly bait and go to Tharl Oom Khush fishing hole at the north end of Churning Mists. Catch Storm Chasers (i180) and Nycsaurus (i200? 210?). Storm Chasers nibble in literally less than a second and are the most common fish for this bait. Nycsaurus have a typical nibble time for big fish. Both are direct bites--no mooching.
Depending on the synth you can get law gear now for centurio seals pretty cheap, 40 for shields, 55 for belts/accessories, 70 for some other pieces.
Not even just that. Hinterlands perch value went up due to materia conversion and you'll get a ton of those going for the blue scrips to buy brute leeches, and those still give .02 a shot @ 180. Both basic red scrip fishing holes have i180 fish to take you up to the higher levels and thunderbolt eel spot now has amber salamanders that are past the 180 stage (30% @ 190 skill).

Hi, I've been away for a while, but I'll post what info I have now that I'm back. I'll use a similar format as last time. And yeah, I know it was stupid to desynthesize all the Gordias and Esoterics gear right at Skill Level 180, but I just had to see what would happen. :P
I always have HQ Tinker's Calm and HQ Bacon Broth active unless noted otherwise, so that's +15% Success Rate. Also, I don't know at what point this'll become extremely redundant, but I guess I'll keep updating this post until I reach 220 with a Desynthesis skill, which will certainly be GSM. That'll give an idea of the level curve, which is going to end up being the most/only valuable part after recording so many item yields. Cluster yield was removed because it's basically always the same, so it was just clutter.
5/03/16: It seems completely pointless to me to continue this, so this is the end for now. This list now has far, far more than enough data to know for sure how much % per level you get as well as the overall skill gain at various levels with various gear. Esoterics items are an exception, but I won't be getting those again any time soon.
4/18/16: I'm no longer going to bother recording non-GSM results nor the item yield for most GSM results. I think we got a good grasp of the various drop rates early on, so I really should have stopped doing all that a long time ago. If I get Eikon material or an unusual item yield, like 6 Eikon Fiber, then I'll record it. Otherwise, blank now means HQ/NQ Hardsilver Ingot, HQ/NQ Aurum Regis Nugget, or 1-2 Battlecraft Demimateria III (usually 1). Also, trying again to change codes in order to make the text line up better.
Final Conclusion: (Updated 5/03/16)
This has now been confirmed.
This fits all the data in this thread as well as the intent to make Desynthesis levelling easier. Just like the 3.2 patch notes said, the curve was changed so that your Success Rate doesn't drop so sharply when your Skill Level is under the recipe level, but nothing was changed for when your Skill Level is equal to or higher than the recipe level. Skill Gains for all levels seem to have been increased by roughly 50% if I'm remembering right.
- -50 ~ -0 rlvl = 0-50% Success Rate (+1% per Level)
- +0 ~ +10 rlvl = 50-70% Success Rate (+2% per Level)
- +10 ~ +30 rlvl = 70-100% Success Rate (+1.5% per Level)

Updated Conclusion 4/18/16: Upper threshold for Success Rate increasing by 2% per skill level increase is +10 from the item's level. For example, at 194 GSM Skill Level, I have a 64% Success Rate with an ilvl 195 item. At Skill Level 195, it's 65% which is +1%. At 196, it's 67% which is +2%. At 205, it's 85%, which means +2% for each Skill Level increase. At 206, it's 86.50% which is +1.5%. After +10 levels, Success Rate increases by 1.5% per Skill Level to, I assume, 100%. I won't be able to confirm that, but it mostly fits what has actually already been known since the beginning.
New Conclusion 3/25/16: I'm seeing a trend now where once your Desynthesis skill equals the item's ilvl, your Success Rate increases by 2% per skill level past that and by 1% up to that. I don't know yet if Success Rate continues to increase by 2% per level all the way to 100%. I also don't know what the lower threshold is for Success Rate increasing by 1% per level. I think Nyalia already figured this out.
Original post end: It's plain to see that each additional skill level past 180 adds 1% success rate, which is the same trend as 3.1 dungeon gear. Also wow, looking at my old post, it was still pretty confusing to read at some parts. Glad this is simpler. Also, thanks for still being around.

Here is again a tip for change: first of all change the statement that ARM and BSM are just "mid" or "worse" to get FC3! You can get them pretty easy by desynthese the tools which you get in mor dhona or by desynthese armor parts (lvl 50)!
Then you say in lvling guide under armor: "dSkill 145-170: Adamantite Alembic (r150) [40% - 85%] (buy from Repository Node in Azys Lla for 20,433 gil) ";
Same NPC sells a belt for 11k!!! thats almost 50% cheaper
