Display Weapons on Walls/Weapon Racks

As both personal decoration and another way to utilize old weapons, can we be able to display our weapon collection on our walls, or within a weapons rack? Has the development team already thought of this? What would they think of the idea?

It's on their "want to do" list according to a live letter awhile ago, like mannequins. They'd have to program a new system/interface for it though. Also, problems with who could display their weapons, what happens if someone else took the display down or wants to change the weapon (where does the displayed weapon go?), what happens to spiritbind... sounds like a headache.

In Private Rooms only. Or a Weapon display board that can be glamoured to display any item that you are currently in possession of.

I actually don't want to see displays where the weapons can be added/removed once it's up, I just want it to be a regular craft, maybe requiring whatever weapons go into it. It'd be perfect for the themes I'm going with on a couple characters. Wall-mounted crossed swords or axes, perhaps, definitely one of the things I want to see most for housing. I don't think it's a BAD idea, necessarily, to make the weapons changable, except for the reasons Jeykama mentioned...but those reasons are pretty valid in themselves. That said, if they DO make it that way, I assume anyone with decorating privileges could switch the weapons up, but I personally think it's too messy with the potential for people "stealing" others' gear because they put it on display and such.

I thought of this too. Even been working on different designs for jobs. Idea is like an Armoire but for your weapons. I've got table top, weapons racks, and wall mounted designs for all classes. Idea, is to only display 1-3 weapons as a decoration (like a currently mounted (equipped) Item slot, then all the rest of your weapons of that class go in the storage. Would be craftable by woodworking and blacksmith jobs. Really been thinking about this for a couple of years, but my ideas got lost in the forums. haha.

This would be the best way to do it. Have a mannequin or a weapon rack simply apply glamour to the weapons/armor you want it to display. No worry about other tenants making changes, or losing weapons/armor for demolished houses etc.
