    Where do you find info on how the iLevel Sync works and what makes the Circlet of Light better than, say, the High Allagan Circlet of Fending? I figured anything above the iLevel mark would just get synced the same as any other piece of gear.

    You basically want to drop anything that gives accuracy/parry/piety for pvp. There are no accuracy requirements so everything will land 100%, using accuracy gear is gimping yourself. You want to go for all out DET/Crit/skill speed for dps/tank, maybe stack crit for sch or whm...personally i do crit for sch and all spell speed for whm.

    And since Frontlines is i80, you have a lot of options for armor choices. For example, I got to dust off my Ultima ring because its one of the only rings with spell speed for my whm lol.

    Unless il80 changed something, accuracy still counts but it's not too important. When I was leveling my pvp rank in wolves den I started in pve pld gear and never missed even when blinded. As I dropped my acc gear for dps stats though I started to notice misses while blinded.

    So it's not a completely worthless stat, but it's pretty far down there. Wouldn't kill you if you had it on you if you had to choose between parry and acc.

    Ilevel sync was explained in the patch notes as adjusting the stats of items to those of the chosen ilevel, and doing nothing else.*

    First off I just realized I made a mistake listing the Crown of Light, the First post has been corrected.

    The stats of the High Allagan Helm of Fending are Def 116/MDef 116/Str +24/Vit +28/Acc +25/SkS +18. When ilevel synced the stats become Def 111/MDef 111/Str +15/Vit +17/Acc +19/SkS +13. A Crown of Light has Def 111/MDef 111/Str +15/Vit +17/Parry +19/Det +9. An ilevel synced Nocted Circlet and Weathered Noct Circlet sync town to Def 111/MDef 111/Str +15/Vit +17/Crit +13/Det +13.

    *The i80 PvP and Frontlines also have an additional effect that negates Morale and Materia to make things more even.

    False. Physical classes need 363 accuracy minimum or they will miss in PvP. Casters, however, need no additional accuracy.

    So, I'm wondering about Weapon scaling. the DPS of weapons does not scale the same as the Stats of the weapons. Here is an example:
    Titan HM weapon i80
    DPS = 14.67
    27 str, 30 vit, 33 parry

    High Allagan Axe i115
    DPS = 17.67
    45 str, 53 vit, 46 parry

    If you scale i115 to i80 at that ratio the High Allagan would become:
    DPS = 12.29
    31 str, 36 vit, 32 parry

    So..... does it scale directly to ilvl giving High Allagan much lower DPS and higher stats?
    or is it scaled to DPS giving High Allagan equal DPS and much higher stats?

    Either way, the DPS and the Stats do not scale equally with ilvl and makes it hard to choose the BIS weapon.

    The DpS number is the Auto-Attack Power divided Auto Attack Delay not really an important number, but it should end up syncing down to 14.67. Physical and Magical Damage on the other hand are synced down to 44/33(DoW) and 44/66(DoM) for all weapons over i80 this is identical to what the i80 weapons have. Stats sync down to the Primary and Secondary Caps.

    A High Allagan Axe would sync down to PD 44 MD 33 Str +27 Vit +30 Acc +23 Parry +33.
    The Axe of the Crags is PD 44 MD 33 Str +27 Vit +30 Det +16 Parry +33. A HQ Tremor Axe will have identical stats to this.

    BiS wise, Determination, Critical Hit Rate and Skill Speed are the only secondary stats that matter in PvP and Frontlines.

    Actually, you'd be wrong. DPS is derived from physical damage, you don't sync it on its own. DPS on a given weapon is Physical Damage divided by 3. You can multiply that number by the delay to get the auto attack number listed on the tooltip as well.

    And as Ultimate showed, the WD and Primary Stats sync down to the same as the other i80 weapons.
