As the title states, Aurora is currently welcoming new members into our community! We are Rank 8 with a small estate in the Lavender Beds! Currently we are accepting members of all levels with similar mindsets for our second raid team and social community!

Why Aurora?
Because we value our community above all else! We provide a family environment where you can always find help or advice for anything you need within the game. We do roulette runs and low level dungeons nightly as well as frequent Coil 1 farming runs for our alt jobs! We also provide a 50-man Teamspeak 3 server for socialization and our scheduled runs!

New to the game?
No problem! We welcome members of all levels and are more than willing to help you learn the ropes! Need help beating that storymode boss? Just ask and we'll help as soon as we can.^^


Now for potential static recruits!

Raid Times:
-Team Bulwark) Saturday and Sunday 12-3PM OR 1-4PM EST
-No more than 9 hours per week, 3 runs per week each lasting 3 hours.

Current Raid Needs:

Keep in mind that Free Company membership is mandatory for all raid/static members.

Current openings as of 10/17/14:
1 - Paladin
1 - Scholar
1 - White Mage

All potential raiders must:
-Be 18 years of age or older.
-Be a minimum of Item Level 105.
-Have at least cleared T6 or 7. Progression on 8/9 is a plus!
-Have the ability to listen in on TeamSpeak for every scheduled Free Company Event. (Microphone is a plus!)

Loot Rules:
- Need > Greed except for the following circumstances:
- Tomes/Oils/Sands (Any tokens moving forward into 2.4) - Each person is allowed one of these until all raid members have obtained one. As an example, if a Sand drops and Billy-Joe wins, then Billy-Joe would be unable to roll on another Sand for 7 weeks(for all 8 raid members to have obtained one). In this instance, however, Billy-Joe could still roll on Tomes and Oils as they are separate and each have their own lists but are done in the same manner.
- Each person is permitted to name one job as their "Alt-Job" job. When an item goes to "Greed" then the people with that class as their named "Alt-Job" may roll Greed on it. If there are no "Alt-Job" for that item then it becomes open Greed. For example: If a DRG Spear drops, then any Dragoons would have first dibs. Then if one person has it named as their "Alt-Job" they would gain priority. The third spear would then become Open Greed.

Raid Leader
We do currently have an open Raid Leader position. Do you have strong leadership skills? Can you communicate well? If so please inform Astorra Ionarra for your screening.

In addition to the above requirements, any potential raid leader must have previous experience with a Turn 8 kill at minimum. You must have a microphone and have the confidence to speak clearly. As a Raid Leader you will be expected embody the values of the Free Company and take your position seriously. You will be required to provide me with weekly status updates in regards to the progress and morale of your team as I intend to work together to ensure its success! I will also assist in recruitment of your team.

What should a potential Raid Leader expect?
Upon being notified of your interest, you will be screened privately by myself and my two Officers. From there we will decide if you are the type of person we are seeking. From here I will bring you to one of my team's static runs so that you may learn the strategies we use. After this I will permit you lead a run with my static team to see what your leadership style is like. If you do well then you will be accepted as Team Bulwark's new Raid Leader!



Everyone in the Free Company understands that real life comes first and we have zero issues with this. If you cannot make a scheduled run, just give an Officer prior notice. The sooner the better so that we may have time to adapt.

Aurora is a great Free Company for people to relax and settle in to enjoy the game with. If you're looking for a place to have fun and make friends, this is it. The people here are amazing and are all some of the best people I've ever played any video game with. Literally drama free, the atmosphere is great and fun. I couldn't image a better community.

Aurora is a great FC with a friendly and easy going environment filled with awesome people who are always willing to help out. If you're looking for a FC that is willing and capable of helping you with content (coil or otherwise) then this is the FC for you.

Curiosity wise, is this a largely EU FC or a lot of overnight workers? o.o I'm currently considering new FC but atm hard to give up ties with friends, even though I cant play with any of them(all west coasters so raids usually 11pm~3am and I go to work 4am~noonish/1pm EST usually :/) not that I don't like EUs, just being EST myself days I play later, no one usually around after 6pm when Ive been in EU guilds

Our FC is largely EST based but we have overnight workers that play who's schedule's don't match up quite with the rest of ours. That is the reason that we're making a Second Coil static for late morning to early afternoon for those who play at a different time than our first coil group.

That's cool, I can totally relate to it, used to work overnight myself before company went 4~5am to save money, not sure if I'd be a good fit for coil but I certainly am looking for group that is running events or playing more day/afternoonish, rather then late night. Plus with my job I hold multiple positions so one day I'll get off at 11am and another not til 2:30pm, but not gonna stop me from trying find nice people to play with.

Atm I'm also in a progression-hiatus, kinda never quite found a current class I like.

iLv90~92* MNK, iLv90 WAR/PLD, iLv93 DRG, iLv90 BRD,

I like to tank but hate tanking for jerks, I like to DD but often feel I'm not good enough for every role, like MNK good single but lacks AoE, and hated how everyone wanted "BRD/BLM onry" in some old days

In XI my fav job was DNC, not just for soloability but when abyssea came out, the only good thing I got from it was making the best DNC solo/tank setup, so I am looking forward to rogue, not for tanking, but play style, and how its animations look while fighting

but you guys seem nice and I'm usually on during day, so look me up and maybe we can hang out some get to know each other, as I said I am currently in an FC but frankly last time I did anything with them was 2~3 months ago and it is hard to break ties with old friends :/ frankly that's probably only reason I stay, but maybe making new will make it easier and see for yourselves if I fit, sorry I'm old school when people didn't just apply but got to know each other first before joining a guild

The times for the SCoB team are currently being discussed so the times that you will be available will most certainly be taken into consideration when the team has been completely formed and all members have given the times they can be online.
