PS4 audio cuts in and out

I've been having issues where game's audio cuts in and out or skips, chops, etc. It's total sound not just certain sounds. Usually going to audio output settings and changing from HDMI to optical and back fixes it but only termporarily and sometimes this WONT fix it, I'll just have to ride it out. Seems this fixes issues on other PS4 games with this problem but that it's a firmware problem on PS4. Am i the only one? nobody in my FC seems to have this problem that's on PS4 exept me. I want to make sure if my PS4 has an issue it gets fixed or replaced before it goes out of warranty instead of me waiting around for a patch that fixes a problem that may be much worse than i think.

It's not just you, I also have this issue on PS4 as well, do you get graphical flickering on trees, plants, grass etc out in the field too?

I get audio issues with my ps4 too. I've been told its because of a not so great "handshake" between PS4's and certain TV's via HDMI.

I've had the issue (and my friend has it way more frequently on PS3) where I think if you play too long certain sounds just no longer play. It's only have it happen once so I don't remember the specifics, but I think the music (BGM) stopped playing and the sound effects stayed partially, but also sometimes cut out.

I have yet to see any audio issues but I logged in this morning to get some gathering nodes and it freaked out then too so it's not related to play time. It's just getting very annoying. I just bought this TV so if it's a issue between ps4 and TV's I would think sony could fix that.

I get audio glitches too. It's been happening since the start of the game. I'm on the PS4 now but it happened when I was on the PS3 also. Usually the music goes 1st and then the sound affects. I just log out then back in to fix it.

mine isnt a hard and consistant boom sound gone. It will chop, cut in and out randomly. Sometimes it'll go away for a few secs and come back. Others I have to change audio settings in ps4 to fix it. I contacted sony who told me to re initialize the ps4 to fix it. Did that today and no go so I"m going to contact sony about repairing my console.
