    I'm assuming these are my problem points? mtl= montreal? And I think I figured out how to read it now, took a look at the beginning. Well this is the first time I've had this issue with a MMO.
    Those % are your loss. Now that address where you have the problems is the start of the data center SE has bought space on in montreal. Because of some ways servers are set up, getting the loss and high ping times at these jumps can be normal and not indicative of a problem. I don't know enough about SE's setup, but I have seen other companies make that claim. If you had no high ping times and no loss previous to these jumps it means that the problems you are having though are in server. I'm not an expert, I've only done some reading up from having problems in previous games. I hope that helps you.

    Nothing was out of the ordinary then when I ran pathping besides those two, everything was below 10%. First run things were around 5%, second were around 3% or lower. So if that means it's a server issue on their part, how do we go about getting them to fix this?

    Also I've had the lag hit me in a run and the FC chat is still going in the background, found that rather odd.

    Ran a pathping

    As mentioned above I ran a pathping because I am getting constant 90k disconnects so much so that it's not even playable. I have had to do cutscene quests multiple times and cannot run any dungeons without getting DCd a handful or more times. My husband also plays but he isn't having any issues with disconnecting. He's playing on the PS4. I play on a windows 8 computer. We both use the same internet and are both wired. I get no packet loss on the line until the end where it is out of my home and service providers control. I'm only pasting the part that has the issue.

    So after contacting SE and my ISP I've come to the conclusion that between the two ping tests shown here the problem is the same regardless. Unfortunately, this problem is not in the control of ISPs or SE. The problem is with the hub that the signal is going through. I've tracked down the IP address source though not entirely sure what to do with that. It appears the one that controls the IP causing the issue is either Tata Communications based in Montreal canada or IWeb Technologies.

    I keep DC all the time, last week I was perfect. Now I can barley stay on for more than 5 mins, this makes the game unplayable. I've tried everything I can with my router and contacted my ISP and they say that there is no problem with the connection.

    Huge amount of info in this thread http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...=1#post2168562 I'd do a pathping as stated earlier to look for smoke, and take a good look thru Raist's post that I linked. Bad connections are very complicated and if it's not something simple with the wires to your house or a bad modem / router in your house it takes a lot of work to get it fixed.

    its there servers got server lag they sorting this out

    you lot not the only problem with the connection problems it is there data centre with the SE / servers

    noneing to do with your net access

    Montreal canada or IWeb Technologies. is there data centre

    I play on a PS3 and I have only had this problem in the last week. I know they have maintenance tonight and just a few nights ago but it feels like since that maintenance it has gotten worse. Thankfully because I'm a WHM (largely because it's the only way to actually play without waiting an hour AND because I wanted a unicorn), I also am able to get in to do instances and don't get kicked but it is really frustrating. The other day people I asked in "shout" if this was happening and people said it happened to multiple people but today I noticed when I kept getting disconnected the raid groups were being really rude and saying I needed to play on PS4 or PC. I would think that is not the problem since you can now buy the game on PSN digitally again that SE would want it accessible to PS3 players too.

    anyway...I just hope they get this fixed tonight. and honestly....I can handle getting disconnected once in a while. but every 5-10 minutes is not good. sometimes even within relogging instantly it happens. it makes all the E3 news less exciting cuz I can't even play what is there already in game

    Ever since downloading the recent patch the "teleporting" latency has returned. Anyone else having this issue?
