I see what you mean now. Yes having 1-sided transparency objects would be useful for small areas. Perhaps there could be an option to disable the auto-zooming as well.I think she's suggesting a fix. It wouldn't be a good view if you're not autozoomed and the wall is blocking your view and you can't see yourself.
I went to U'ghamaro Mines last night and in a rare thing happened. A glitch caused me not to autozoom. It's a good thing that the walls became invisible as I can still see my character. This actually made it easier for me to fight the mobs in the area. Unfortunately, it went back to normal mode afterwards.
I've been seeing this come up again, this time tanking adds to the walls of an arena. I suspect there will be many future encounters where tanks will need to bring things to the arena edge to protect the party from conal attacks too.
Greetings,
Good news, everyone!
In patch 2.3 we’ll be making adjustments to the camera so that when entering boss battle areas in dungeons and such, the barrier that is erected to seal the battlefield will not affect it.![]()

this will be very helpful in some fights, thank you!
Off tanking coil 1 will be so much more fun now.
Thanks to all the good people who post the complaints I always feel in game! By the time I get to the forums I'm usually looking through rose coloured glasses, but this was a major gripe of mine! I'm glad it will be fixed.![]()
Is it weird that I am more excited for this change than anything else? But seriously, as the BRD kiter in turn 7, nothing is more annoying than dealing with that barrier.
