PS4 Ver. False Advertising

Hi SE,

I pre-ordered the PS4 version on the basis that I would receive pre-order bonuses for my alt character. This is as advertised on your website for all regions. I've now been reliably informed by Amazon.co.uk that your websites lies, and that you have not provided any pre-order bonus codes to them. May I ask why this is the case and when I will get what you claimed to be selling to me???

I'm talking about the code for the in-game items (moogle cap and cait sith minion). I've bought the standard version of the game.

I do see they mention the pre-order bonus items on NA amazon but not see anywhere on the UK site for amazon mention pre-order bonus items which is most likely why you did not get one

The last time those items were available for pre order they were emailed to you by SE if I'm not mistaken. I believe it was confusing then too. I could be wrong but I think when you register with your registration code it brings up your preorder code from there. Could be mistaken about that, it has been a few months

When I pre-ordered the PS3 version for my main account (also on amazon), it was them who emailed the code. The only issue I had that time around was that the code didn't work at first. I just got an email response from amazon now:

"I have checked and found that the " Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn (PS4)" does not come with a preorder bonus even though the publishers website advises there is.

I do understand that this may not be the most favourable answer that you are expecting from your query.

Really not sure where to go with this - SE Site is clear that only the seller can sort issues with pre-order codes and amazon is listed on the PS4 promotional page on the official site Sigh.

The pre-order items for the NA version came under the same code as the early access, from what I understood. A single code grants access to the Mog Cap, cait sith minion and early access.

They did this time also. Try looking in the moogle mail in game. they were mailed to you in game. sux that that moogle cap only gives you an EXP boost untill LvL 10 but it also works for leveling your skills also if worn on that setup.
