I really... REALLY hope I'm the only person that has run into this.

I join Brayflox Hard through the DF looking to do some soldiery runs rather than all of the myth speed runs on my server. We finish the second boss and everyone starts running to the next set of mobs... except one guy.

Apparently too lazy/stupid to form his own group through the party finder for farming myth tomes he joins groups through the duty finder and then expects each group to either abandon the duty or kick him and then sit around waiting for a replacement to pop up.

This has to be one of the most selfish things I have ever seen the duty finder used to accomplish. There wasn't even a half ass attempt at a "my FC needs me" of "my house is burning down" cover story, he just plainly said he was only interested in the myth tomes and stood there until he realized we were going to drag his sorry ass to the boss whether he liked it or not.

Aaaaaand this is why making the last bosses drop only soldiery tomes was a stupid idea.

i had this happen on my high roulette - pharos , the (preformed 3) people abadoned after myth , and my daily was failed , ironically i qued again and ended up with em again , my payback was afk , not helping and letting them collect me free gil until they could kick me out after 15 minutes

I did one of these the other day. We were in a myth capping party. Then, we decided to trio the last room and boss after the BRD left.

Ive also do'ed the dungeon with a healer. It takes long, and rewards you with nothing but a bigger bulge, but it was fun as hell.

The dungeon is stupid easy (if overgeard). I do understand you complain. If it was a tank or healer that left then yes it sucks but if it was a DD, then u can and should have just finished it.

Change the soldiery roulette reward to myth when you're capped while you're at it.

I hope you reported the person that did that, its a abuse of the game if I understand right. Well abuse of DF, I don't really care if its done in PF groups but you dont pull that crap in DF and expect everything will be fine.

That would be nice but I have my doubts that SE would go for it, seeing as how they reduced myth drops from several activities (I think CT was the only exception; it also seems to be the only place where the last boss actually drops some myths too) + seemed rather intent on giving us a ginormous myth grind in the form of relic animus stuff.
