My wind up sun minion won't move when I use the /poke emote on it

Steps:
I summon the wind up sun and it just doesn't move at all when I /poke it, even though I've seen others do the same thing and it raises in elevation.

EDIT: I've discovered clicking it with the cursor in virtual mouse mode lets me do it.
