Anybody else getting gigantic mutant freak monsters?

Just curious if anybody else was having thoughts about the size increases to some mobs from the last patch. I love seeing giant marmots or gnats and stuff that was generally small; if I'm gonna get killed by a bug that bug better be friggin huge. But the other night we noticed some leve mobs that were insanely huge to the point of being downright silly - mobs like dreamtoads and efts that were large enough to block your entire screen. Has anybody else noticed these? I'm all for keeping larger versions of the small mobs, but seems like they increased the size on some of the ones that were huge to begin with too. :P

I like the increase in size for the most part. i think the increase in size of some mobs like toads, wolfs, and gnats were kind of unnecessary. the thing that i find most interesting is they actually made some mobs smaller. Mitelings are almost adorable now.

I don't understand why the changed the size of skeletons. How is it that the bones are bigger than any character's body?

Yes those needed to be changed, except they need to fix the jump for the gnats.. puks don't fit right. I don't know what kind of trees those marmots are going to be climbing...

I think they work because they match the large monster style of past Final Fantasy games. Remember those huge bees, rabbits, beetles, and ladybugs from FFXI?

I think it just takes time to get used to. I bet if they had released the game with these massive mobs, everyone would have thought how awesome the big monsters were, and complained if they were made smaller. I like how big they are, the Gnats scared the everloving crap out of me the other day while I was doing a leve.
