FFXIV is a wonderful game

It's not that we don't want people to complain. It's just that we would be really happy if we could see a lot of comments from people who are having fun too. That way you'd get more people interested in playing, and at the end of the day the players could end up creating a better gaming environment for themselves too.

After reading the comment above, I'd like to speak out and say that I am one of the many players that enjoys this game. Putting in many hours as I could've since the launch of the game, I can say I am completely happy with the games content and progression.

As per my experience with FFXIV, the boss fights of all content is amazing. The developers think of the players skill set and gear combination that makes them doable and still fun. Even on Sastasha, you have to be aware of your surroundings on the final boss or else you will wipe. The End Game content are worthy of being call end game as I still see players struggle on Titan Hard Mode with Primal weapons. (This mean they have beaten Primal Extreme). I can say that even "old" content is still relevant when new patches come out.

On the other hand, others complain about timing of content or nagging for new class/jobs or whatever they woke up in the morning dissatisfied about. However, as I see it, SE does not need to hint at any new content if they don't need to. They are actually giving us a gift that we can look forward to albeit its a year later. From the success of the game, I think there are more people that love the game than actually hating it.

Come one Community, let's show our love for this game once in a while.

I agree with you Death Fiend more people love the game then hate. This game is an awesome game and people need to spend time thinking about how to make the game better through making suggestions that may or not be added in an upcoming Major Patch or Expansion

It's funny. I usually only see a lot of complaints when I come to the forums and not in the game itself. I'm also probably the only one in my FC that actually comes to the forums. The truth is that people that are unhappy with something are always more vocal about it.

Though they should really think about re-instating the policy of only letting people with active accounts post here. It's ridiculous to see people that don't even play the game anymore here complaining all the time.

I like this game very much! I think the world is beautiful and I still enjoy the sunrise and sunset almost as if it were in real life (not quite but still, it's very realistic!)...and the primal battles are fun! I am glad that raiding the coil or clearing CT doesn't take several hours, so it doesn't feel like a huge commitment to join a raid. I'm excited for new content

I love this game too! i just wish i had something to do in it... or maybe if they charged $1 a day the people that only play on Mondays like me wouldn't feel so "blah" and might actually stick around.... see you in 2016 when i can play the game without lockouts.

I get the impression that you're the type of person who likes to "sweep things under the rug". Stop people from criticizing the game and sit back to imagine that everyone loves it.

In any regard, one problem with your proposed "barring" of people posting upon cancelling. Anybody who has bought the game (much less having subscribed any period of time) has invested in the game with their money. I'd think that earns them the right to voice themselves on this forum.

As for myself, I like reading positive things, along with negative. If any group of people out there have criticism for anything, then they should sooner be heard to attempt to improve it, than pretend they don't exist. All in all, these forums really aren't that bad. They aren't nasty or hostile. I don't see many people outright attacking each other for difference of opinions. So really.... if people have good, or bad things to say about this game, let them. If SE pays any attention whatsoever, it should be a better game for everyone. Not just the people who like it the way it is.

I agree to this somewhat, the fact they can still voice things they would like to see or post VALID (not all complaints are valid from either side) complaints may in fact get them to resub should things change in the direction they would like to see based on their feedback.

As for me I enjoyed my time in this game I met some people who I hope I can continue to keep in my life for a long time and I have no regrets playing what I did. Sadly I can no longer justify my time here but thats not what this page is about so I will leave it at that.

The majority of people that play XIV do not visit the forums. Forums in most games only hold up about 5-15% of the game population or so.. usually speaking that is heheh

They are more often than not, the loud vocal minority hehe (be they right or wrong )
