    HIDDEN MYSTERY

SE needs to work on adding hidden areas with hidden loot, soundtrack and unknown enemies we haven heard of yet and NOT ADVERTISE IT. Id like to explore and find stuff no one knows about yet. I Hate the way everything is layed out right in your face. theres no mystery to this game. I remember having to find maps to areas in 11. In 14 you get maps to everything right from the start.

this way you say "OH Cr*P" everytime you find something new.

I love the hidden stuff they have in the game. Like the [spoiler] in [spoiler]? Oh man the first time I saw that I was like holy [spoiler]!

But yeah I don't want to ruin it for you.

My name is a killing word.
(Seriously: "Caerith" was a forbidden name when I signed up on the forums.)

Eorzea should be a world, not a lobby.

Yeah. Actually, I was on vent having that exact conversation with a friend of mine. How if you didn't KNOW what/where Crawler's Nest was....you were kind screwed. Party flag up...check, tell sent asking if you want in...check, "Come to CN" .. "What's CN?" ... "Crawler's Nest" .. "Where's that?" ... Silence. Party invite gone. It was kind of amazing. You had to work hard and actually pay attention to shit around you. I miss it.

Frankly, while I don't want my hand held, I do like having a bit of guidance. You miss struggling to actually get somewhere? Is your brain wired properly? Don't hand it to me on a silver platter, of course, but struggling to figure out anything is like trying to study calculus with a learning disability.

Good luck with that...most people want their hands held the entire way through, and will then complain about the lack of challenge and unique content.

It's a crazy MMO market my friend.

the thing is most NEW spoiled gamers these days are dumber than a rock (no offence to the rock) and are too lazy to put in SOME work. SE realizes this so they must appease these morons to keep up player base..

Wow odd, I was saying this to my friends during my FFXI days that i wish there were places like holes in the ground that you drop through but cant see and there'd be a whole cave underneath that no one knew about because the hole was so small and places in a far and hidden away part of a zone that no one needs to go to.

Hidden instances would be awesome. some kinda thing like, when your wandering around one of thoes random caves that have fishing spots, you would suddenly enter an instance and be attacked by a challenging mob or run into secret bosses or something. or maybe some treasure hunting system that you have to find some shady NPC that gets you into the treasure hunting biz that gets you into some indiana jones-like situations.

it wouldnt be hidden or a mystery for long. once word got out it would be like that "hidden camp" in crawlers nest.
i like the idea but i feel like its a 3 second high if that.
