    Idea: Chocobo Dungeons!

    For a lot of players there really isn't any in-battle benefit to leveling your chocobo. The new chocobo suit is definitely a step in the right direction (even though we're missing a mask to complete the set at the moment). However, I personally feel the attack/healing/tank power of our chocobo companions needs a buff. There seems to be no difference between having your chocobo summoned to battle or not. That said, I'd like to get to the main idea...

    "Chocobo" Dungeons
    In short, it would be a "solo" dungeon where you and your chocobo fight through the dungeon to obtain gear. (The gear can be chocobo-themed as well - Chocobo armor, accessories, weapons, etc.) It also opens the possibility of going into group dungeons with friends and their fighting fowls as well.

    Additionally, I'd appreciate the ability to either reset your chocobo skill tree - or ability to master all chocobo skill trees implemented.

    Your chocobo does contribue quite a bit on damage. it was really noticable for me as i lvled up my paladin. without it would take me 2 halone combos to even break the mobs hp to half, with my chocobo it just takes 1 combo to get it down to 2/3 so yes its very noticable.

    As for the idea i support it. More things to do even if solo or with another friend with their chocobo would really beat just grinding the crap out of mobs since its all that we can do to lvl it.

    I'd love to see a solo, or duo dungeon which allows chocos. Drops with Choco Stats+ would be nice, either with a vanity system for them or just make the drops 'choco-materia' which you can slot onto a bird regardless of their gears.

    The game desperately needs more duo content, implementing something which will also make use of chocobos would be a great bonus as well.

    Agree with the idea but they should put some real chocobo content to get exp for it. Making exp with only mobs around is rather boring..

    What ever reason they add for the chocobos to exist I'll be excited about.

    Just give this cool system a purpose whatever it might be.

    I don't see how it would work without some classes being very powerful while others underpowered, they would have to make those dungeons stupidly easy to not pigeon hole people into certain classes.

    I think the idea of Chocobo Dungeons is AWESOME! I believe that it would require instances that are somewhere between the Solo Class Quests (the ones you get every 5 levels and are forced to solo) and the current 4 player Light Party dungeons. So maybe they would not be full dungeon instances, more like a Guildhest that you can duo with your Chocobo.

    So, I think we are asking for "Half-Light Party" instances here?

    Play the Chocobo Dungeon games, even though Square got rid of most of their talented developers, if they have any creativity left you can see that it'd work perfectly fine in any fashion.
