the reason why our devs can't translate as quick as reiny (who does an great job). is becuase our devs get bogged down with a million threads about how bad the primal weapons are, or what ever the new release news is at the time

oh, they get bogged down doing their jobs reading those forums and tos violating the rude responses in them. gotcha

Actually the Devs do not do the translating. A lot of times it's a community rep assigned to the task.

Dunno if English side Producer Letter said same thing but JP one stated you can get on My Chocobo from the NPC within your own GC city; here's update on that one.

プロデューサーレターでは、「自GC都市内の厩務員からマイチョコボに乗って街の外へ移動可能に」と記載していましたが、その後も調整を進めており、現在の ところ所属GCに関係なくどの都市であっても、都市内の厩務員からマイチョコボに乗って街の外へ移動することが可能になる予定です。
大変失礼いたしました。
In the producer letter we stated "You can get on My Chocobo from your own GC city's NPC" but after we made further adjustments and currently we're planning so it's possible get on My Chocobo from NPC in other cities as well. We're sorry about that (that it was stated that way in P.Letter)

My immediate reactions to posts being made vs your random, irrelevant attempt to mock me after more than a day of no updates on this translation thread.

Immediate reactions vs multi-page long discussions and/or misplaced, irrelevant, and disappointing posts like yours.

I honestly hope you're an elaborate troll forum character sometimes Neptune, because if not, with each passing day you continue to convince me that above everyone else on these forums you are the one to be pitied most.

パッチ1.20のリリース日は、ほぼ12/14で確定できているのですが、
まだ最終調整とバグの追い込みが続いており、
明日の夜くらいには確定できると思います（これからクリティカルな重大バグが発生しない限り）。
しっかりした日付を御伝えするため、もう少々お待ち下さい。
Patch 1.20 release date is almost confirmed for 12/14 (jp time) but we are still continuing with final adjustments and bug checks so this will be confirmed around tomorrow night. (Unless there is a major critical bug) Please wait a little more for us to be able to give a confirmed date.

課金告知については欧米の法務的都合で期限があるため、
パッチリリース告知と前後する形となってしまい恐縮です。
For timing of announcing the billing service there was a timing that had to be met for foreign laws so sorry it was announced before the patch release info.

また、リテイナーについてですが、新生時に仕様を変更し、
キャラクタに対してのリテイナー付与ではなく、アカウント単位での付与に、切り替えるつもりでいます。
（課金対象リテイナーがどのキャラクタからでも使えます。アイテム移動はまた別問題ですが）
現状でリテイナー課金をスタートしてしまうと、いずれ大きな混乱を及ぼす可能性が高く、
そのため、今回はリテイナーの課金サービスを見送らせて頂きました。
Also regarding retainers, we are going to change the system in 2.0 where it's not bound to your character but to your account. (paid retainers can be used with any character; transfer of items will be another problem) If we start the billing for retainers now it's possible that it will cause huge confusion so for now we are not going to start the retainer billing service.
