Am I the only person alive who wants this? Can we have it? Pretty please?

I remember this from XI and loved it. I got used to the system here, tab being used for enemies, and use F-keys for party member targeting. With that being said, I honestly thought you could change your targeting in the settings somewhere.

I'm actually talking about one key to cycle through the party. I have a gaming keypad/mmo mouse combo, so the "1 key per party member" thing isn't really "ideal." Unless I (and my FC....) have missed it, there's no way to set one key to cycle through the list of people in your party. You can do it with mobs, but not with your party.
There has got to be...on my PS3 or PS4 you just press up or down to cycle through them...I cannot believe that the "Amlighty PC" would not have something similar to this....Chalk one up for the Console players....YAY!!!!!!

You can bind a key to do the up/down function from a gamepad. By default, 8 and 2 on the numpad are already bound to it.
Those keys seem a weird way to do it...I would have to change that.

So only use one of the keys? Down you go down through the party list. Up you go up through the party list. Both wrap around at the ends.
If you want cycling based on the character models' positions, yeah, that's missing & wouldn't be a bad addition.
I wish there was a way for healers to cycle through party members with r1 and l1 on a controler. That or bring back <stpc> macros like we had in ffxi. It would be awesome to be able to cycle through party members while the cross bar is visible.
