I just move ready check screen to lower right side of my screen and ignore it unless I am in none-troll party.

C'mon SE..last night during a particularly bad CT run, arguing and bickering ensued in the alliance channel and for the last two bosses some turd decided to spam the ready check for the the entirety of the battles. We fought through it, but it was the worse case of griefing I have seen in a long time.
This is a very SERIOUS oversight on your part and needs to be addressed now, not later.
Except the actual ready check window returns to the center of your monitor every time someone spams it. If you're in CT for example, the alliance window takes up almost half your monitor so that isn't working either...SE needs to fix it.
Put the name of the idiots doing it on the ready check. "Soandso has initiated a ready check." You can put a timer on it as well to make sure it's not spammed.
Hey people! You all asking about who makes the checks, or limiting the feature. But I had a great idea!!!!1!
Why instead, when that happens, all innocent players will file a player harassment petition?
This will have all good consequencies! First, if petition is handled, the smart player having fun with check, will have fun with his/her account sanctioned then, for the greater good! Second, if petitions sent to SE will reach a good amount of, I'm sure that this will become a priority in the development team, just to lessen the pressure on support team.
Yes, I am evil!
Personally, I'm not sure who is testing this in real situations.
"Lets make a ready check, that also is able to be used in the middle of a fight!". No offence, but then it's not really a ready check is it now? I understand people miss things, but that seems like common sense. Disable it, or block it being used in the middle of fights.
So from what I can gather from putting both of these quotes together (and this could just be me being very very hopeful as its possible that one quote is overriding the other in reality) is that in 2.2 or somewhere near said patch we might be able to see the name of the person initiating the ready check. And in 2.3 there will be actual limitations like no ready check during battle or limiting it to only the party leaders(if the 'party leader only' one is implemented I would only do this limitation for CT and other large scale raids like it since there are instances where the party leader may be AFK while waiting to queue up for a normal single party dungeon).Greetings,
The development team is looking into placing limitations on the use of the ready check feature, as this should not be used during battle. In addition, for patch 2.2 they are also discussing making it so the person who initiated the ready check will have their name displayed.
EDIT: I just re-read the 'outside of battle' part in the update for 2.3 This could even mean that 2.2 or a patch near this one can still implement the limitation on it being used in battle! The 'outside battle' limitations could easily refer to who can initiate the check, a potential cool-down timer after it has been used once or twice, how many times a single person can use it (if its not just the leader who can use it), etc. I'd welcome any of these and would be pleased as punch if ready check being disabled during battle could be implemented in 2.2. Heres to hoping!
I am happy about the possibly of being able to see a person's name seeing as though we can single out who is trolling and kick for abusive behavior until the time comes for limitations. However there are loop holes. Not being able to vote dismiss from another alliance can give you no power to kick a troll on another group. And as someone has mentioned, what if said group was a pre-made thus making it impossible for said troll to be kicked? Hopefully the name display will be happening in 2.2.
Nonetheless, thank you for the update on the situation![]()

Just a tought, but ready check doesn't come up with the name of who initiated it, already checked? If comes up with only one name checked, you know who done it!
As long as our checks are green, it will suffice the player who initiated it, have a red mark instead of green, to know at any time who triggered RC.

Greetings,
I have some additional information about the upcoming adjustments to the Ready Check feature to share.
The development team is currently working on the below:
- Changing the feature so it cannot be used while in battle.
- Changing the feature so the name of the person who initiated it is displayed.
- Addition of a "wait" or "hold" button.
- Changing the feature so when you close the Ready Check window it does not automatically pop back up. (The tally results will be displayed in the chat log when doing this.)
The team is currently looking into whether they can implement these prior to patch 2.2.
