    A solution for AoE?

    I've seen a few things on here about people saying with AoE toggle removal there is going to be waaaaay too many skills. So how about this?

    AoE toggle gets removed then, for say CON:

    R10 Skill : Concentrate
    Cast time: Instant
    Effect: All enhancing spells used while "concentrating" are AoE and are 3/4 effective.
    Duration: 1:30
    Recast: 2 mins

    Concentrate II could be similar but spells 100% effective and ofc Concentrate III 125%.

    Also guild mark bought ability to reduce recast timers by 25 seconds.


    For Nuking you could have a similar ability with same basic layout although attained at a later level (say R14).

    Let's call it Astral Burst.
    While under the effect of "Astral Burst" all offensive spells cast are cast over an area (AoE).

    I'm not even gonna tag this 'til it has at least 10-20 likes.

    (plus I dont have a clue how to tag correctly)

    OR what they could do is give us the choice to turn any skill into its AoE version on the action bar. Default would be toggle-able spells, but I could go in and press an icon next to "cure" for example, that turns it into "curaga". Curaga could then be placed on my action bar anywhere I want.

    As long as MP/Hate/Damage Spread are balanced, along with this option, and the option to turn toggle off from the config menu, the Anti-AoE Toggle People would no longer have anything to whine about (I wish).

    I dont know why they would remove the curent AoE system, just press Z to triger aoe, or macro /aoe on /"Cure III"

    Do they plan to remove the curent system? If so i feel sorry that unskilled players win that point

    Go there if you want to see us punch a giant hole into the Anti-Toggler's arguments several times, and still have Bayohne announce that AoE toggle is being removed.

    To be fair, the devs could have been planning this all along, but I for one still feel like I'm being nerfed.

    Don't mean to rain on your parade, but if the crappy, unskilled mage-trolls can't be bothered to tap 'z' once in a while, what in god's name makes you think they would be okay with having to use a skill to AoE?

    Yeah, I stopped even clicking the topic when I realized they were going to keep ignoring the point that AoE isn't why they have to push Enter. . .
