Launcher Won't start right, black screen followed by an error message

I have been trying for the past hour to get into the game but whenever I open my launcher I get greeted with a black screen and then an error message saying something about frontier.ffxiv.com/...

I have cleaned the cache from IE and used CCleaner to clean out whatever I could but no hope here.

Anyone else getting this?

I'm with virgin and having the same issue despite being able to play earlier today with no problems at all, anyone found a fix or do we just have to wait ?

i still cant log in. been over 10 hours now when they blocked facebook it took them a few hours to fix, probably bercause virgin got flooded with complaints lol it would be better for the SE techs to contact them

seems on similar threads, its all us virgin media customers grr. if there wasnt a better isp for my area, i would have left them long ago

Isn't that interesting, Virgin. Been locked out now over 7 hours and yep I'm with Virgin. Probably Performing Rights thinking I'm trying to steal FFXIV
