    My Simple Wish List

    With everyone posting, there are going to be ideas that I love and some that I'm not so crazy about. I keep reading the posts and most people (except the make XIV like XI group) have some pretty good ideas, and I'm not saying I wouldn't like to see some features from XI make it's way into the game, however, I think you (Yoshi-P and Crew) have the right priorities with the battle system, the class system, and the armory system. So consider my list here just a simple list of things that I would like to see brought in game, at some point, perhaps once all the big issues are addressed.

    This list is in no particular order:
    1. When friends (on your friend list) sign into or out of the game, add a notification to the chat log that let's you know they are online or offline. (ex. Friend 1 is online)
    2. Party xp/sp kill chains... I like the example from Final Fantasy XII with their chain system, however it would be fun if it was on a timer and players in a party could work together to raise the chain level and thus get a xp/sp bonus until the level times out.
    3. More linkshell features (been said several times) ability to kick, promote when not in area. Optional features like a linkshell bank, tax, storage, etc. Would love to see a linkshell level and as players play with their LS it levels up and adds more features and increases space on current ones.
    4. Quest rewards that help the player - for example (increase inventory space), retainer's increase inventory space, increase max anima, increase number of trade slots in the trade menu, etc. Some of these might be far fetched, but having some quests (down the line) that the player does to enhance current systems would be a plus.
    5. Public quests - "events" - (While I don't want you to copy other MMO games) having some type of event (think behest, but no NPC needed to talk to) that when you enter the event area, you are apart of that event. The event would have a few parts to it... The number of mobs you need to kill would be substantial, but anyone taking apart of the event would add to that total. For example: Say you needed to kill 100 dodos, and everyone in that area who kills a dodo increases the count until the 100 dodos are killed, then phase 2 starts, with different objectives. At the end of the event players get scored based off their performance (how much they were active) and get a score, that score plus a random roll would give them their total points, and then rewards are giving to first, second, and third highest players, along with a reward for everyone else. The event will have a cool down time, and then reset every so often. Plus it would be nice if there were a few per zone/rank range so it isn't the same thing every time.

    Anyway, I should get back to work, lunch break is over, keep up the good work, and I'm looking forward to see what you have in the works.

    Wow, I wrote this a while ago. I'm glad we are getting xp chains and also link bonus, but I wonder on the stays of the other things.
