Infantry Set

Haven't done Bray much tbh but have the top, boots and gloves (x2, handed one in for seals while other pair was in retainer) still want the pants and bandana, shouldn't be too hard as I've got a piece every run I've done.

However, I am STILL trying to drop the Foestriker Tabard, even with doing low lvl roulette with my other classes every day, I have seen this top only drop twice in my whole time playing since day one, and lost the roll both times. RNG is what it is.

I got the Head, Body, and Feet while grinding for Battlemage gear on my SMN. Dunno how many runs it was...

But I recently grinded for the Waist, Legs, and Hands on my BRD and literally leveled in nothing other than Brayflox from 32-41. No FATEs, not hunting log, no quests. It took a lot of runs. X_x

But the set is beautiful, so it was worth it in the end. Shame I can't dye it, but oh well.

It was a while ago, so I've long since forgotten how long. I'd wager somewhere around 15-20 runs, given how poor my luck is at times. And that's a complete set, belt included.

That entirely depends on if you do Binding Coil of Bahamut (and Extreme Primals) or not. A full set of i90 gear would run you 5'900 (you can only get one i90 ring) Myths (Assuming you Zenith a relic), which is a bit more than 13 weeks of capping Allagan Tomestones of Mythology. Naturally, assuming decent luck with drops through Coil and the Extreme Primals, the time can be easily cut down a few weeks.

For the actual topic, I can't say. I never really counted, but seeing as I always levelled my classes through instances once I hit 32 (they get fun by that point, earlier on they kinda feel like a slog)... I'm sure I must've easily run through Brayflox 50 times by this point. I kept running it all the way until 38 on my Black Mage before I moved on with my life. Ended up only gaining two Battlemage pieces. I got another three while levelling my Monk and Warrior through greed rolls, though. <_< Still no full set for any of the classes, but I have the full visual set for Infantry, so I'm happy. Just lacking the headpieces for Cavalry and Battlemage now.

Why would u even worry about gear before ur 50??

some people like to be all they can be at all times, not just after they've gotten to 50. Others are collecting the sets for vanity when it is released. THe brayflox sets do look pretty cool, after all.
