    Build discussion, comparison, bragging rights, or anything else to help Lancers with their skill Character builds.

    I'll throw mine up to get started. R44 Lancer.

    Here's my build as a rank 34 lancer.

    What I'm aiming for is a more heavy on thaum debuff role on the build rather then straight up damage, hence the high caster stats. Now with them about's where I want them to be I can go back to working melee stats again. Ideally what I'm shooting for stat wise at the end.

    Strength - Above 90
    Vitality - Around 80
    Dexterity - Above 90

    My Lancer build/strategy goes like this:

    Buffs pre-battle:
    Life Surge (over SS because of WS life gain and evasion debuff)
    Invigorate2
    Comrade in Arms2 as soon as its available

    Attacks consist of TP control:
    Full Thrust
    Twisting Vice
    Moonrise 2


    Battle Regimen for the Normal atk > Normal atk Br
    Comrade in Arms 2 or
    Light Thrust

    Battle Regimen for the WS > WS Br
    Ferocity2
    Raging Strike
    Cadence
    Hawk's Eye
    Still Precision
    Keen Flurry >
    Twisting Vice

    Doe Comrade in Arms 2 count as a normal atk? o.O I mean doesn't it screw up the defense down debuff? If it's not the case it might also get an accuracy boost from the BR, does it?

    Doesn't it take too long to use all of this buffs? Also Raging Strike and Hawk's Eye generate an amazing amount of enmity, I would be afraid to use all those buffs when fighting a NM :S Right now I use only Keen Flurry and Ferocity2 and I plan to replace this one with Cadence as soon as I get it.

    Stone Spikes was kinda just for the heck of it; I just unlocked THM Absorb skills, so I'll probably be switching it out for Abs DEF, my Accuracy isn't bad. Grilled Carp!

    I do not know if Comrade in Arms inside of a BR counts as a normal attack but i still initiate with it as a motivation, knowing that all other stacked normal attacks after it will recieve a TP bonus!

    And no, a good Gladiator will always be the focus of aggro, doesnt matter if i use all those buffs. I also plan on closing the BR as soon as i get in.

    Traits:
    Fleet of Foot, Pikemanship (only because not 100% sure this does not give some hidden boost to Lancer and it doesn't hurt to have it equipped).

    Stats
    STR: 166 (yes I know I went over cap )
    VIT: 82
    DEX:96

    My goal is to max STR at 174 and to try and get VIT and DEX to at least 100 If i have points left over then I will put the rest into DEX or MND to get a bigger MP pool
