PS3 Shutting down with FF14

Hey all recently my PS3 has been shutting down during instances within FF14. During general play in town or farming etc it runs smoothly as normal but when i enter an instance such as a dungeon or guildhest it seems to be a 50/50 chance as to if my PS3 will shut down. Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same thing or if it is a hardware problem on my end. Thanks for any input.

if it shuts down with 3 bips and a blinking red led, start backing up stuff and looking for a replacement :x

Yeah, as ZohnoReecho said, if your PS3 is actually powering down (with or without beeps) then it's probably on its way out. If the game is just quitting and returning you to the XMB then that is one of the (many) issues with the PS3 version.

I'm sorry to tell you, but Zohno is right, sounds like you're slowly heading in RLOD territory... I've had this issue twice on my old FAT ps3, ended up buying a new one. It will get to the point where the system doesn't turn on anymore, so if you have stuff on it that you want to keep, back it up right now and don't run any software until you have.
