Please Raise the Drop Rate of the Bluebird

My friends and I have exhausted our patience with this item.

This week, between the five of us, we have done 84 Peisteskin Treasure Hunts and seen zero Bluebirds. As you have no doubt established, we have spent a sizeable amount of gil on maps, as we ourselves can only gather one every 18 hours.

We have all gotten to the point where we are actually more upset at this than any other lack of drops in this game. Even the Coil's blatantly biased drop system doesn't bother us as much as this.

A vanity, novelty, cute item should not have this ridiculous low drop rate. On discussion with somebody else, they too are 0/50ish.

That's just too low! Please, adjust this so people can enjoy these minions.

Exclusivity is good in a game, in my opinion. What if you spent all that gil on maps, then they listened to you and raised the drop rate to 1 out of 3 Piesteskin Maps contain a minion? Not only would every person in the world have one, but they wouldn't sell for more than 5k-10k on the MB.

I understand some people are collectors, and also I'm overexaggerating what the outcome could be (or am I?), but when you're one of only a few in the world with a specific item, doesn't that mean something? If not, why not cherish your Mammet minion bought back in Gridania at level 1?

Twelve forbid if something doesn't get handed over on a silver platter to everyone. This game has next to nothing that's exclusive and as soon as you add something that is, people cry and cry.

I understand your point but the bottom line is Treasure Hunting is casual content. Let's assume somebody gathers a map a day; it could be months before they get a Bluebird. Even if you get your map every 18 hours you would have a higher chance of getting your items from the Coil than you would of getting a Bluebird.

That just seems wrong, in my opinion. I know I am biased from my personal attempts in getting one, but a novelty item from casual content being harder to get than the top end gear from the top end dungeons seems like poor design.
