Event music all over town please

Why does the event music only play in a tiny part of town and nowhere else?? It's snowing and decorated all over, which is awesome...but the music--the pretty, pretty music--is only heard when you visit the immediate area around the event NPCs...

Why does SE seem afraid to really go all out to make the events feel as if an event is going on?? When you've done the actual event, the enjoyment of the event afterward is all in the atmosphere, but they keep selling us short.

I admit it's odd that Nobuo Uematsu's 1.0 track Starlight Celebration only plays around the event npcs and nowhere else, but I guess SE were experimenting. I suppose though it's because the event doesn't require you to run all over the cities as a part of it, simply doing FATEs for tokens to redeem.

You could also always buy the Before Meteor album, as it's on there. But then, that's not the same as hearing it where it's meant to be heard, in the actual game.

Playing it on me blueray player doesn't add the proper atmosphere to the game.

I agree. I really like the Starlight song, so I'd like to hear it in the cities in more than just a 10 yalm radius of the event NPC.
