New Crystal Tower gear...

I don't care about looks. I'm looking forward to Vanity Slots though, but that's just cause it's a nice thing to have. The gear design for CT stuff though...I could care less...as long as it does it's job stat-wise I'm okay with it. I'm only gonna get CT gear for my secondary jobs anyway if at all. By the time CT hits my Main is full itemlvl90 and my secondary is halfway there.

So with this new loot system for CT I was wondering if it would be possible to just complete the instance then go back and open all chests at once so you could decide what if any gear you wanted that run.

Nothing would be more frustrating then taking gear early and finding something you want more later or the reverse being to pass for something later and then nothing else drops. I mean yeah you can farm it each week for a specific piece of gear but how quick is it going to get just as boring as wp/ak.

From what they said, I was under the impression that CT was not a raid in the same sense as BCoB and that you'd be able to do it as many times a week as you want. However, I could be interpreting it wrong.

Obviously someone did not play Final Fantasy I-III. They are paying homage to those games and I love how they all look.

Looks like. At the very least, that seems to be the most common opinion.

I do find the gear aesthically pleasing, however the new loot system for CT and the rather apparent re-colours are a bit of a letdown.

Since you are restricted to one drop a week in crystal tower, can i ask what is to stop people from the following:

Let's say the gear you want drops, you greed or need it and you get it.
So, the player tells himself, "hmmm now I am locked out from obtaining anymore gear for the week."
"Ok, i'll just leave the alliance/party/duty"
The result is then that the alliance/party is left having to look for a replacement.

Or, am i understanding this wrong?
