I seem to be having problem with aoe aggro - mainly when I have a trigger happy BLM that just spams aoe spells. Luckily, I dont have any problem with single target, so my question is, what scales flash? or does it scale at all?

I think it scales with weapondamage, not entirely sure if it scales with anything else however.
Flash scales with STR.![]()
I'm not sure if anyone has done the work on this, but the simple answer is that if you have better gear, your flash is stronger.
I took a quick peak at your gear, and if you are going up against someone with full/near full DL and a relic or garuda weapon, you will struggle. Not knocking you or the way you play the game or anything - just an objective comment.
This is not true all the time. I'll assume you meant on progression content, or anything you don't currently out gear, you should be using shield oath. For anything you greatly outgear, like when I tank an AK for a buddies ALT relic, I'm in Sword Oath the ENTIRE run.
TBH if that BLM is spamming aoe like an idiot then let him tank what he pulls off you. There are times that aoe spells are useful against weak mobs other than that he should be either sleeping mobs or focusing on the marked target.
Meh, I'd call that more steamrolling than "Tanking"
(I'm guilty of doing the same on Demon wall and a few others...)![]()
