Freezing on PS3

Over the past 2 days my PS3 has frozen about 5 times while playing. I have been playing since Beta 3 and Early Access, and this constant freezing has only started recently. Wondering if there was a hot fix or something that might have caused this in the past few days/week or so?

I concur.. This has caused my GEN 1 PS3 to LOCK UP . I mean. Image on screen frozen. Controller non responsive.. Not even a Hard Shut down on controller works. Powering off the actual PS3 console is the only method i found that will re-boot the client.

The time frame in which iMark521 above mentions is correct. This only recently started. I been playing since BETA.

My brother plays on the fat PS3 for hours with no issue.
How strong is the noise of the fan? It might be overheating?

Hapend to me and Friends as well sometimes after hours of play.
