Xbox Gamepad Disconnects Repeatedly

For a short while after I got this game on PC I used a Xbox controller to play, and I had a blast with it. Recently though it has developed an issue while playing, and no matter what I do I can't fix this. The controller never disconnects from the computer itself (lights never go off, never get any pop-up bubble about hardware being disconnected) but while I'm playing it will stop working for a few seconds, then it will be fine, and it repeats this over and over every 15-30 seconds. The best example I have to describe it is running around or moving the camera, and it gets "stuck" so the camera keeps spinning or I keep moving in the last direction I had my thumbsticks pointing, then after those few seconds it goes back to normal. I tried other games I have on Steam and they had no issues like this. Only happens with FFXIV.

It seems that there have not been any further posts about this concern being an ongoing issue. Because of this, we are considering it to be resolved.
