All Saints' Wake Haiku Contest (EU): Winners Announced

We received an overwhelming amount of haikus for this contest which made it quite difficult to decide on the best. Unfortunately we cannot give a prize to every single one of you but don't worry, there will be a lot more contests in the future!

Now without further ado I present you the winners of this contest (in alphabetical order):

Imps want to have fun
Why do they turn in pudding
When we all love sweets

The Saints leave to Dine
Monsters coming out to Play
Tricks and Treats Tonight

Shivering in gloom
Shadows creep so light the lamps
Tonight saints awake

Evil doth stir as
Saints feast with twelve above all
We beg your return

Ghosts? I don't see any.
Keeping my nose to ingots
All day and all night.

The Imps in disguise,
bringing back The Good Old Times
All Saints' Wake begins!

Another outfit
Now I can look like a ghost
Full armoury chest

Demon eyes be nigh
Imps and ogres haunting now
Dread the midnight strike

Pumpkin Pie I make
Life as culinarian
They come for revenge

The coil is calling
But All Saint's Wake has arrived
Bahamut can wait!

A word of advice:
Don't frighten the Sultana.
You will regret it!

Pumpkins through the night
Staring at me with cold eyes
Don't take my candy

What are you doing?
Please give me back my pumpkin!
That is my real head.

Treat the guildleve saints!
The twelve invite them to feast
Leaving dark to thrive

The darkest of nights
Their blood painted on these floors
The monsters are dead

Trick or treat they say
Give me but one moment please
*Runs fast thru backdoor*

Let's flambé a flan
Clap for the somber strongman
Oh look pumpkin pie!

Ghosts are everywhere
Asks for cookies and candies
How can they eat them?

It is All Saint's Wake
The Bismark has made a feast
The Flan has vanished

Mischievous spirits!
Smiling pumpkins watching all!
what fun will you have?

hiding in plain sight
Evil spirits fill the night
will they end your life

Eorzea Imps
Made me run ghostly errands
It was fantastic

I call upon thee
Come now my wailing Spirits
All Saints' Wake is here

This Imp is not sane...
Leading a troupe of nightmares...
I won't sleep for weeks!

Knock knock, trick or treat?
Wait, you sure you want a trick?!
Fine, Zantetsuken!

All Saints' Wake has come
Yet here I am composing
Haiku of all things

The dark night creeps in
Frightening ghosts soon appear
Madness consumes me

Night and stars align
A vigil for those long lost
In hallowed light

Cactuar gangster
Trick-or-treating little kids
Don't cry Lalafell

Ghosts are in Ul'dah
Momodi cowers in fear
Raubahn saves the day?

glowing crimson red,
like carbuncle's ruby gem.
all saints' pumpkin heads!!

Hear ye, tonberry
Thou shalt trick, or thou shalt treat?
Woe, 'doink' last I hear

Terrible Nightmare
I dreamt Titan had come back
Wanted a rematch

Nothing scares me more
Than a Moogle in stockings.
It's not natural.

Zombies eating grain
They are done with eating brains
So no bread today

The clock ticks slowly
I'm needed elsewhere right now
This fright i'll postpone

Carving my pumpkin
Blood covering its teeth
I suck my sore thumb

Shrill voice of metal...
Glowing eyes discern my faults...
All Saint's fear? Gigi!

The night is but young
Full of terrors it now is
And Pumpkin cookies

Ghostly visitors
spreading fear and excitement
respite from the past…

I dress like a ghost for you
happy All Saints Wake

Sharp shrieks in the Shroud,
pumpkins wander silently:
Be chilled to the bone.

spirits roam the realm
darkness and tree leaves falling
now your time is nigh

To get the candy
Clapping at Somber Strongman
Am I that scary?

An imps Masquarade,
Eve of wiles and witchery
All Saint's Wake is Nigh.

Top hat pale catgirl
Blew me a kiss while posing
Hope she's not an imp

Threatening darkness
Tireless pumpkin warden
Beacon in the night

Saints to the Heavens,
Darkness left roaming the earth.
Fight away we must!

In the cloudy Night
Magic Pot now hates the imp
Imps bladder is bad

Trick, Treat or Candy?
This is the question tonight...
Help! I can't decide!

Ghosts patrol the town
Sad smiling lit pumpkins stare
While I bake bread, still

Pumpkins glowing bright...
Tricky treats and ghastly ghouls!
...The Saints feast tonight.

Damnable evil
As foul as Marlboro's breath
Seeking to quell life

Put on your costume!
/clap! Cause nothing's more fearsome
Than a clapping ghost

Candies or Brainies
Zombies have a short tough life
Brainy I choose you

Impetuous troupe
Adventurers as ghosts clad
I want my sheets back!

Cold chill in the air,
Must mean October is here,
Look out! It's a Flan!

Haunted by creatures
Sadly I fail to escape
Too much pumpkin pie!

Dressed up as a ghost
Battling terrors of the night
I fight fire with oil

The wailing darkness.
Will it ever end? Maybe?
I'm scared of the night.

Trick, treat, pumpkin head
Scary sheets not really dead
(At least I hope so)

I'm not really scared
Of the ghosts and pumpkin heads
If I close my eyes

Sick I am, Kupo!
Stop feeding me pumpkin pie!
Hm maybe one more

Pumpkins everywhere
Good nutritional value
Need to learn cooking

Help! Ghosts everywhere!
Running through the black of night.
It's adventurers....

Sounds of all saints' wake
Eyes glimmer in lantern lights
Quench our thirst for quests

Ruin, bane and fester
These are the spells that you need
To make a zombie

Rattling Chocobones
As the moon rides high and full
Mind the Were-Moogle

Sprits and ghosts have come.
Titan will shake with terror.
Heartattack he gets.

I killed her so many times
I think she's a ghost!

All saints'wake tonight
Does not give me a fright but
Titan hard mode does

Something behind me
Imp's wings? Clawing zombie? No
It was just my tail

This is All Saints' Wake
The day imps come out to play
Frights and treats they give

Us talking pumpkins
Exist as mere distractions
An impish disguise

From the grave I wake
Curse the twelve they reek of booze
Where is my smallclothes

By the moon's bright light,
Frightful deeds may occur, wait
who stole my pumpkin?!

All Saints´Wake has come
So much candy, cookies, sweets
Have to watch my weight

Of all the pumpkins,
In all of Eorzea,
You carved into mine.

We should honour the Spirits
By wearing a sheet?

In a scary white blanket
Without eyeholes, ouch!

Pumpkins and Ghouls own the dark

This event scares me
So I will don a costume
And scare myself, boo!

Creature in the fog,
On leathery wings, afloat...
Wait-- that's just a Mog !

Smiling ghouls taunting
Pumpkin's hollow stare strikes fear
Is it Starlight yet?

Imp's play Trick and Treat
Ghost's have come to meet and greet
Pumpkin's fill the street's

But I won't hurt you

A ghost once scared me
I got my revenge swiftly
I cast cure on him.

Upon Saint's Wake Night,
Black Mage's Magick Replaced By,
Ghostly Tricks and Treats.

Beneath the mask you will find
An impish surprise

Ghosts fill the cities
Monsters shrouded in magic.
They seek a good time.

You indignant imp
I want a mummy costume
Get it right next year

A Touch of Zozo
The Sounds and Music of Ghosts
Chupon Must be Close

Evil stalks the realm
But I have dressed as a ghost
Priorities, right?

The night disappears,
Gives way to the Knights of Light.
All Saints Awaken.

I am so hungry,
I feel like eating pumpkins,
Oh no! They are bombs!

A scream in the Night
