Is it safe to use FFXIV Apps parser?

Like in most other (good) MMo´s it´s illegal but ignored by the publisher if used so far. If you use it the propability nothing will happen is very high (The game would have a hard time surviving a ban of all third-party-programm-user). But if they decide to do so they got your approval to do so.

In havent gotten to play with ACT yet for this game. It sounds like a smaller project . Hopefully more will be done with it soon

Can't find a reason for SE to ban players for this. The program basically reads what the game sends to it..

On another note, I parsed my party's DPS together with a friend (him running his own app). The difference for a particular player was about 15-20 DPS each time we checked (resetted everytime when starting a boss/all primals hm). If there are people using this, try running it simultaneously with someone else and check it everytime the fight is over.

This of course has nothing to do with the game, but with the app, or......

I wonder why SE does not drop its own dmg meter. What better way to balance DPS when the community gives you the numbers for free!? It's like they're afraid of being exposed because it sure feels like numers in this game should be taken with a grain of salt..

They can ban you for any reason, or no reason. Your mouse and KB drivers are against the ToS as well.

No one is getting banned for using a parser, period, end of story.

i just used notepad to open up the log i saved from the game, then i transferred it over to my wordpad thingy on open office thing so i could change the color, is this against ToS?
