wow I have yet to see the pants

They dropped on our victory on turn 4 this past monday i was sad cuz i got the ring (which he already had) now trying to get the crafted ring n earrings for more hp for turn 5 but i highly doubt we are rdy for it. I just wanna get free of this crafted gear XD. Seeing the bis list makes me cringe that i purchased the heroes belt.

But I miss one important thing ... didn't you consider to get 251 piety for a proper rotation with 5 fireballs? This is the reason why I'd put one or two 2 star items (astral ring, rosegold earrings) into the build

Be a Lalafell and party with a scholar, and that should be enough for all the instances that actually matters.

I don't wanna depend on a scholar and still less being a Lalafell We don't need to optimize any gear if we just want to be "enough"

meh I would not bother with piety at all. The best theoretical dmg increase under ideal conditions is not more than 2.3%~ give or take. Personally I will not give 1 point of INT for anything except WP DMG.

2% is massively more than you're getting for 1 INT, btw.

@Sleigh - There is no food better than HQ Deviled Eggs at the moment (+24 Crit) even if you've already capped your ACC. As for Head piece, AF2 is worth +6.6 INT while Allagan is worth only +3 INT (Assuming you've already capped your ACC with or without food), theoretically speaking.

@NeoAmon - VIT is the same for all 3 sets, which is +158. 184 is base w/o race stats, so VIT with BiS gear w/o race stats = 342

@Primm - I'll look into factoring in piety to the whole mess ^^


@Fukujin - You cannot get max bonus from HQ Apkallu Omelette even with current BiS gears due to low scaling percentage.

So, at 491 crit, you end up with +20 crit (27 max), 11 vit (19 max), 9 acc (11 max)

You can get almost max bonus from HQ deviled eggs: +24 crit, +14 vit, +9 acc (10 max)

No other food can compare to +24 crit when Acc is capped.

HQ Apkallu Omelette?

You would need 550+ crit to get 22 points out of the Apkallu Omelette HQ plus they are damn expensive to make or buy...not worth it ^^. Deviled eggs on the other hand is easy to cap, easy to make & cheap mats.

Not really, you see BLM scale exponentially with INT since we are a burst DD and not sustained DPS. My opinion anyway, I like to have my Fire 1 do more dmg than actually casting an extra one
