I must confess, recently this problem has not been as bad for me. I am limited to maybe 1 crash per week. However, I don't fate grind as much as I used to, which is where the problem seems to present itself he most.
So under heavy loads. What's your GPU? Do you happen to know if there are any beta drivers out for it?

That honestly sounds like a rendering panic. Voltage values may be off or the driver may conflicting with other software.

Can you raise the voltages on your cores and see if you stabilize? Remember, push them up but be careful as you can fry/short/burn the cores if pushed too high.

I had to tweak my voltages when I originally got this motherboard due to stability issues. Since I found stable values I am not prepared to start messing with them again in case the lockups start again.

If you look up this thread:

    http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/...-790i-freezes#.

    You'll see my voltages.

At the same time, if there really was a voltage issue would I not be experiencing problems in other areas of my system?

I fail to understand how your PC can be perfectly stable 24/7 doing everything else bar FFXIV and somehow my PC is the problem.

    keep getting 2002!

I haven't been able to play since yesterday due to this constant error (2002), has anybody experienced something similar between 28-30 of November?

The client keeps crashing on the main screen and the start button is unavailable for some reason, any ideas?

Aside from having massive lags all the time, the game just quits on me as well, just as it pleases. Really sad about the money i wasted on this unfinished mess.

How about you rework it again and call it Final Fantasy: A reborn realm reborn? ....

Apparently im in the same boat with you guys i got a 90k and now i cant even get back into the game, i crash on startup now with an error message like this

    AppName: ffxiv.exe AppVer: 1.0.0.0 ModName: ffxiv.exe
    ModVer: 1.0.0.0 Offset: 008e0fb6

If i click for more details theres a quite large list that lists out 61 modules and 1 thread along with something i have no idea what it is.
    Anyone got a suggestion here?

Bumping so SE can see the thread, but continue to ignore it as they have for over a month now.

    Running windows 7 64 bit.

Game crashing upon launch, can't even get to character selection screen.

First time there was a runtime error. Fixed by unselecting "Read only" for FFXIV game folder.

Got into game just fine, then. But crashed again.

tried disabling chrome remote desktop services. No luck

The crash error I get now references Memory. Will try Running in Windows XP compatible mode, or just setting the game to full screen mode.

From what I've noticed, FFXIV draws unreal amounts of CPU computation. If your computer doesn't ramp it's own voltage on the cores (locked in the state maybe) it will try to run the higher frequencies, but not have enough juice to perform causing a crash.

On my personal machine, I had to ramp my NB Voltages and CPU Voltages to run it how I wanted to.

I could be wrong and I'm not the end all to computers or anything. But when I ramped my own voltages up and locked my P0 state, I stopped having issues.
