Housing Activity, Multiple Plots and Zone Capacity

Greetings from PBC! It's been a while!

Hey folks there's been a few questions as we've been organizing and planning our future free company endeavors. I'll bullet point them real quick!

• How is housing activity measured by the game, how do we maintain that a house is "active? We several hundred people running through but it would be nice to know anyway!
• We can envision a time where we may want to buy the plots adjacent to us based on the ideas we've heard expressed in there possibly would be airship facilities related to a free company house, chocobo farming? Which of these will be a player housing thing only and will they be something a company will have to choose between?
• We are large as a free company and also plan to have our house open in general to facilitate with groups we'd be in alliance with when that system is put in, is there a plot or ward restriction for players? We'd want everyone to have an optimum experience!

For those of you whom are also working on housing, which plots are you selecting and why? We've been surprised as to the pricing on some plots because some of the ones we like better are actually cheaper!

If we buy the whole ward, will SE allow our electronic old men and their flexibility to make progress in the Mythical City on the Hills?

I forgot to mention, would houses be expanded in the future? Like adding additional floors or basements? It seems like being able to buy such an upgrade would be a good sink for company credits.
