Doing it All on One Character? Possible?

    Hi All.

i've been playing FF ARR a month now and i have learned all the jobs and professions.

currently my main job of gladiator is level 22 and all others are hovering around 8-10
    including crafting.

my question is: Is is possible to get all jobs maxed on one character? and whats the best way to go about it?

I'm finding that doing leve quests and fates is not really getting alot of xp for a secondary job like conjurer for example. I'm also finding my armory and bags are choc full of mats and gear that i need to equip all the proffs making it frustrating to manage

is anyone doing it this way? or is this game better suited to having several characters with a couple of secondary jobs like a traditional MMO? having a main thats a glad/blacksmith and armor, then an alt thats a conjurer weaver/botanist for example?

would love to know your thoughts and experiences!

Yes is it possible to a SUper character .For leveling alternative combat class you should do mostly fate or dungeon. (you get 50% exp for leveling an alternative class). For crafting class you should spam leve as soon as you reach lvl 30 since they give huge amount of experience and you could do 30-50 with 100 allowance.

The only problem having multiple combat class on one character is the myth tome limit that is currently capped at 300.

You begin in a different city according to your class (3 city) and each city got their little story but doesn't change the main story past lvl 15 because all story are connected past this point. (you got 2 Grand compagny quest but let be honest doesn't really change anything)

Well imo the most reasonable thing is to get one class to lvl 50. And then bother with the alts. Furthermore i do suggest to do it with one char. Why? Well xp bonuses for one. Also you will most probably get a lot of gear from end game dungs, that is not for your current (main) class, but it is also not tradable.

What i did is - level my main class first. DO the main story line chain, and pick up side quests when I lack the exp. Furthermore i left al the battleleves alone, so i would have the first time bonus exp for my alts. (somethin a little to help).

Also it is nice to level some crafting class, to get some nice armor for alts (so you can go fating, and don' t need to focus on dungs for gear upgrades, or spend money).

btw, you can get 2 retainers where to put your gear. I use one of my retainers only for storing gear, other for crafting mats etc

I am buying all of the grand company gear to replace every piece of gear i need for every job. Its not the absolute best gear but works on all classes, Nice to just pick out a lvl 20 set or 30 set that I keep on my retainer when switching to a different class. I then just turn in all dungeon gear for seals to buy higher sets.

I'd also recommend, if you can bear it, to level like classes together. Such as LNC with PGL, ACN with CNJ and THM, GLA with MRD. Certain classes share a lot of gear, and leveling them in tandem will allow you to save space in your armory system as you can convert for materia gear that you no longer need.

I have a loong way to go myself, but that was my thinking as well. I did end up leveling all of my DoM/W jobs to 15 so that I could clear out the lower level armor that I had been stashing.

To be fair GC gear tends to be better then anything at it's current level, and a few above that.
