Server Status? :D

Hello!

I am currently considering switching from Balmung (NA Legacy) to Ragnarok (EU Legacy)!

In behalf of my considerations, I would like to hear out from the players of Ragnarok what is it like to live in such server

Be as detailed as possible, for I like details, and hate generalizations :V

Any detail is welcome.

I've never played on another server, so i can't directly compare. But from my experience ragnarok seems to be a pretty normal mmo-server. Primetime is like 6pm GMT - 11pm GMT, but there are quite a few american and some japanese players as well (so you never have the feeling its a ghost town no matter which time you log in)

Currently the server is crowded but not overpopulated (no login queues).
You can find tons of people forming groups for titan, garuda, cm & ak and a few pugs attempting coil - Tanks, healers & bards are in high demand as usual.

Community is really mixed - you got the casuals, the elitists, the nice guys & the douchebags. Most people speak english, with some french, german, italian or spanish FC- advertisements from time to time.

Prices are still high for alot of wares on the marketplace - at least compared to what i read about from the really big servers.

About specific question... I'd like to know more about the general tolerance the community has towards ungeared or unskilled people (for I am stuck at Titan actually), and the new people that go into the server, along with the question of how often does people look for each other (Since I will be entering the server alone)

Other than that, maybe it would be what to do the moment I get in there

Hm, groups for titan will usually expect you to have ak gear with some DL pieces and a primal weapon -people judge HP breakpoints and usually expect 5k+ tanks and 3,2k everything else, as well as being experienced with most phase (tho alot people still tend to die in p5). Rest really comes down to the individuals groupleaders, ive seen people getting groupkicked after dying 3 times, sometimes the group is really patient.

What to do? Prolly the same as on your server plus maybe looking for a FC or LS.

If you don't have a relic, you can expect to spend more time shouting for...say ifrit/garuda/ak etc than you would spend just waiting in the Df, enjoy the server
