Extreme increase in new players

I don't know if this is happening to other servers but there has been a seemingly giant spike of new players on Besaid. They're everywhere. I see more new players than I see anyone else now. The starter camps are starting to look more like when the game was released at times. A lot of these players said they came here from XI, and they're not "into RP" so that's not their reason for coming here.

Has anyone else been getting a spike of newcomers on their servers?

Im On Besaid and I noticed the same thing too, "maybe the players here told them about the Impending Doom".. What have they done! >.< LOL =)

I'm about to check out and see what its like on Rabanastre. Good news though, always happy to see new players.

In selbina there a lot of players playing in LL and saw a few low level players also i knew there was low when they got level 5 physical

More Players= Game becoming what its suppose to be (still a long way to go) however this is a start of something great =)

Cornelia is always swamped with JP players, the NA and EU community still seems quite low.
Have been noticing quite a few non-ls people running around with the collectors edition items.

As Abriael said, yeah I have seen a increase in new players on our server too.

add in the fact people are already getting tired of rift
and LOL DCU and PSN being down

they are going to games like this that wont cost them as much for the moment, especialy with whats been going on they wanna see what will happen and whats going on
