Rested EXP

Ok, so last night I logged out on my lvl 50 PLD. I still had some rested exp from the prior day so I figured I would take that plus my rested from last night and do some crafting.

I logged in this morning and noticed my rested exp bar did not move up...

So my question is: Do you not earn any rested exp on a job/class that's capped at 50? Has anyone else experienced this?

Well that isn't true.. You earn rested EXP on a 50 capped job. Why it didn't move at all.. Not sure, maybe you weren't logged out long enough to show a noticeable difference? You're positive you logged out in an inn/sanctuary?

You definitely still earn it even if you log out on 50 classes. That's how it's supposed to/usually does work.

You absolutely gain rested xp on Lv50 jobs because I do it all the time. Including Fisher. But I have to repeat what A-shock said, are you sure you logged out in a Sanctuary? If so, you may have discovered a bug, and should report it.

Logging out on a 50 for rest exper doesn't work the way you think it does.

It's a percentage of levels and as soon as you switch to a lower level the bar adjusts.

I think it's around a week to cap it. The only place it makes a critical difference is in DoL as you are forced to apply action to level those. For any DoH having rest exper means instead of it taking you an hour to get a level it will take you 50 minutes. It's not an efficient use.

Why you didn't get rest?
It didn't see you as in a sanctuary. I don't know why.

I logged out at an Inn, first time I've done that in a while. Typically I log out on miner since as soon as I log in I do the daily turn-ins for the Grand Company, starting with mining.
