furniture? I didn't spend the last two months grinding all my doh/dol classes to max to make somebody a rocking chair. And their gimping my only dow class as well no details of how yet though. Started crafting so I could support my dow and make some coin at it im not a carry over from 1.0 so im just as broke as 80% the rest of the server. Only to finally finish and get ready to start grinding my dow again to be told well, crafting isn't necessary now just run a dungeon a couple times for your gear and by the way your toon is going to shoot nerf arrows now just like we did to your rng in ffxi.I played ffxi for years enjoyed it, ffxiv about 6 months... started ffxiv arr with low expectations after ffxiv even started making a list but decided to give it a longer it was suppose to be better. This decision is idiocy though still the same SE running around for whatever reason trying to purposely destroy their games. Anyhow gotta run applying a second coat of varnish to my rocking chair

The change is crafting is disappointing. I for one spent time leveling my crafting and gathering in order to make some gil. I have also report many bots and rmt gil sellers and they are still there botting away. I get several rmt gill seller tells a day and frankly gave up reporting them. They just change one letter in their name and are back the next day. They are the ones that are affecting the market place. To be able to make your own high level end game. gear for yourself or to sell is the purpose of leveling your crafts. It should be a choice between people if they want to make their own gear for the dungeons or get the gear that drops in the dungeons. I do not think that just because you are a crafter you will not be running the dungeons. I know a lot of crafters making their own gear that are doing the Coil of Binding at this time. What are you thinking Yoshi? Every craft that we have will be hurt by this. Are we really a secondary class?

Just disappointing, to be an End of Game Crafter/Gatherer to only be able to craft Gear 25 levels below the best gear. I was expecting more from this 2.1 patch, but it seems crafting/gathering are not relevant anymore. You want the best gear/items, don't waste time crafting/gathering, do dungeons instead. Great Job Devs and Yoshi P. , just ignored 11 out of 19 jobs in FFXIV!!

Disappointing, not more not less.

Doubling the EXP for the "click-to-craft" syntheses? Really? It don't like where that leads to. Imagine we will get, because of RMT's, an even higher drop chance of items. (Even that they did with skins)

Cooks will get less to do, ALC's already had und the others will shrink to near nill. We get a new set of gear AND weapons so where is the point?

Housing ftw? I don't think so.
The devils circle is... if we refuse to oppose, the numbers behind the scene teach em not to invest more...

Crafting in the game is a complete Joke! got all my crafts to 50 except arm/cul was working on BSM 33ish i think! I spent millions upon millions gettting my crafts to where they are ( I was a 1.0 player). Why buy gear when a blind monkey could face roll the dungeons and get lvl 90gear?

you guys are relying on furniture to bring crafting back in the game. lol, dont make me laugh. in my server u need over 50mill to get a medium sized house. my fc is a small tight friendly fc and the richest player has 1,300k before he donated. now we have around 1,800k... just need 48 mill to go, dw we'll start buying furniture in another 2-3 months lmao xD.. if any crafters are still playing ffxiv anymore when we get the money to buy one ._.

I'm usually not the pessimist, but I guess a fc that can afford a plot, has amongst its many many members enough crafters, so they can decorate themselves, they won't need to buy from anyone else. So even to those fc that have houses, we won't be able to sell them anything I think. Somehow I wish they either had introduced player and fc housing at the same time, or player housing first.
