Am I the only one with good end-game/DF experience so far?

Hello,

There are SO MANY threads about how terrible DF seem to be, how players don't know their job, how people complain about equipment, about speed runners...

I am the only one who have close to 0 problems?
I had some bad runs of course but even with my FC we had bad runs (which we still laugh about how bad they were)
but that's not even 1% of the runs I did

• I watched all cutscene for my first CM and Praetorium, nobody complained
• I did my fair share of Ifrit runs and only with one team we could not make it (but it was more of a lack of time thing and one player had to go)
• I run Chimera with strangers from a shout in Coerthas, few wipes but we did not gave up and all made it together
• and yesterday I did AK for the first time without having watched any kind of explanation video or guide (just knew "be careful Demon Wall is tough) and we wiped twice at DW and once at final boss but the people I was with were cool about it and now I know the mechanics to run it again

I don't know... I have so few problems that I am not sure if people on the boards and I are playing the same game...

Am I just lucky or some people out there are also having a good time with nice players?

I haven't had a bad dungeon finder experience yet. Its just people are going aren't going to go out of their way to say, yea I used DF and everything went well. It's the complaints that get posted a lot.

I got my 5 (five) Relic weapons, farmed total 19710 Tomestones.
All done it via Duty Finder without much trouble since I'm FC-less and pretty much a lone wolf.

But I did run into some rude people once in a while which spoiled my day.

I leveled my characters to 50 back in v1.0, but yeah I did spend lots of time on Titan fight & tomestones tough.

I have had many great experiences so far in DF as well.

Most of the DFs I've been to was rewarding, sometimes I wish I could befriend and get to know some of the awesome personalities from other servers. My favorite DFs are the ones where the 1st timers do wipe (sometimes multiple times), but over time you see improvement to the point to where the players took time to learn and totally own the event. Of course you have to have thick skin for the occasional donkey's butt who goes full retard with the caps lock key and rages at the party, but hey that's part of the mmo experience lol.

Agreed. These forums ARE for complaining and solely for that. I've had good experiences as well, beating dungeons with first-time players. I remember a few instances where even JP players would ask for the group to take a screenshot with a pose (guessing for blog?) out of sheer joy for completing it. Puts a smile on my face.
