Recruitment:
Looking to recruit two additional 8 man team for the upcoming December 24 man raid content
Positions:
The guild looks forward to establishing a total of three 8 man teams, with a total combination of 24 core raiders and 6 rotational raiders.
Currently, the guild underwent dramatic changes in terms of core raider and raiding structure, this allowed new positions and opportunities to open up.

Raid Time:
Currently Planned: 3 Days per week, on Monday, Tuesday, Wendesday night from 9:00 PM - 12:00 AM EST (6:00 PM - 9:00 PM PST)
Additional Plans: Raid times might be up'ed to 4-5 raid nights per week with variable hour depends on team dedication.
Overall: When 24 man content releases, we do not plan to have more then 3 Raid Nights of 24 people per week, this is a serious progression guild but not a Hardcore raiding guild. Most members in the guild have real life to manage during weekends.

Requirements:
Understanding of game mechanics and character play style. As a raider you are required to come to fights prepared, with the proper gear, knowledge (watch a video or find a guide, and if it is puggable, pug it for practice) and miscellaneous items (I.E. FOOD, REPAIRS).

Any raider who cannot perform their duty correctly will be asked to sit out for the night after multiple failures to fix the same mistake. Nothing personal, but 23 other people will not wait on 1 person who cannot fix his/her mistakes. With that being said, we are human, we make mistakes, as long as there is an effort to fix those mistakes, we can work with you.

As a member in the Free Company, you are required to be serious and dedicated during all progression raid contents. Jokes are for non-progression content times, mumble is excepted to be free of chatters. As a member, you are required to retain common decency during all times. Any mockery to fellow Free Company members or the Exodus community member will result in stern warning, and removal from the Free Company should the problem persist. (I.E. Keep it to your self if you think someone is a "noob")

Raid Environment:
Severed tries to create a relaxing adult environment for individuals that enjoy gaming and have time in real life for other events. Don't misunderstand "raiding three nights a week" as a sign of "casual" guild. You are expected to perform to your utmost ability. Should your performance not meet the standard, you will be asked to sit out for an replacement who can perform. Your raid leader understands mistake, but should failure to fix the same mistake become a persistent problem, your raid leader will not keep 7 or 23 other people waiting that night for one individual to finally step up. The individual will be politely asked to retire from the raid on that particular night, and take a break to refresh him or herself. In Severed, we take raid progression seriously, and we aim to turn a 3 night raid progression to what another guild's progression in 7 nights.

FFXIV ARR is a game. Games are meant to be entertaining and enjoyable. At anytime, if you find things are unpleasant to you, you are free to speak to an Officer and see if we can fix the unpleasant experience. Just remember games are here for your enjoyment, not to create more frustration.

Severed progression is now at pre-rebuild state... Coil 1 is down!

Second Group Turn 1 down too. Third Group looking to get going, need 1 scholar and a few more DPS. Possibly 1 tank, apply on if you are interested http://severedfc.enjin.com/. Our group members rotate in and out to help other groups. We don't have a set group to progress through Coil, geared players are evenly distributed among the groups unless there is specific need to clear a content like a race. Overall, this week we are looking at both 1st and 2nd group starting to work on turn 4. 3rd group will probably finish turn one if we can get a couple more dps and 1 scholar in.
