Grand Company Rewards. Will all GCs have rewards for all classes?

That's assuming that's where it will be though. The archery guild is in Gridania but bows come from the Immortal Flames right now, and the thaumaturgy guild is in Ul'dah but their scepters come from the Maelstrom. For all you know they'll add musketeer but make guns be purchased with flame seals.

All of that is exactly why they need to rethink all rewards for a certain class coming from a single company.

That being said what about if Ishgard is given a GC too? Plus with the armoury system working the way it is at the moment it means we'll be restricted to "ok i can do everything but the GC i joined doesn't reflect that so I'm being forced to specialise in 1 or 2 classes".

They must be putting in some kind of system to switch GC's otherwise the whole thing won't make any sense. O.o'

Switching makes no Sense from a story PoV at all, almost as little The Weapons that GC have not being linked to the guilds in that city. I think trading items would make more sense, it'll mean that people can chose the GC based on Story/Ls.. and items can be distributed around to others.

Personally I would still prefer each GC having all weapons with different looks, an maybe selling materia based on the guilds in that city state or something.

Are there plans to adjust the purchasable items offered by Grand Companies (for example, PUG weapons are in Gridania, but their guild is in Ul'dah)? I am unsure where items will ultimately end up, so I am afraid to join a Grand Company... I also feel like I have to join a specific company just because of their rewards. AHHHHH HELP!

A lot of people were worried about this, so Triary spoke with Yoshida regarding this issue.

We plan to continuously make adjustments as needed based on your feedback on purchasable items within the GC. Therefore, please don't worry about what city-state has what guild or which items can or cannot be traded, and simply join the Grand Company which appeals to you the most after you hear their speeches in 1.19!

Yep, players will be able to obtain company seals in Grand Company leves that will be implemented in 1.19.

People are still going to worry about it, why not give an actual answer? What if we find out we picked the wrong company for our favorite class and have to wait weeks/months for the "feedback" to make it through?

The way around this is to adopt another idea from FFXI. Allow non-members to purchase items at a higher rate. It appears that earning seals will not be a major problem

Exactly. You're right in that it doesn't seem that seals will be too hard to come by.

My only interest in rewards is Lancer gear. Currently those are available in Limsa Lominsa but by all intents and purposes I want to join Gridania's GC. I will still do so, but I'm just dissapointed they're basically telling me my choice is going to be the wrong one, at least until they "gather feedback".

Grand Company
- There isn't much difference on which country you enlist in, just varies in how the event is viewed (cut scene)

- To avoid one country getting too much enlistment, making it so depending on number of enlistee the company bonus changing.

- It doesn't mean you can't switch (grand company) later on, later we are looking to adding "Free Company" where you can join optionally

- When everyone from same company you get bonus as well as when you have 3 different countries grand company members

- Adding a content where you can obtain company seals over time, however if you don't get a higher rank the amount (CS) you obtain will not increase.

- Rank: Once obtaining award, must take a test to rank up, currently it's hard to go higher than warrant officer

- after 1.20 be able to trade company seals for chocobo gear, planning to release in future chocobo gear which crafters can make.

- If you work hard in grand company it will effect in Lodestone
