Yeah, people keep filling pages complaining about the downtime hour and forget to keep asking for the important informations. I'm stuck in Phoenix and my friends that migrated from another game are playing on Odin. We lost contact prior to the game launch and found out about them too late. I made a character there just in case, but I came too far on my original character to just start over. Would love to know if we will be getting the server transfer tomorrow or next week... or maybe only next month? I know SE has a big issues to fix but the "friends playing on different servers" are not a small one and they SHOULD have, at least, said that they unfortunately have no plans to implement the server transfer yet this week.
What.
I'm not the only person who has read the Malazan Book of the Fallen?
Back on subject, I really thought we left all this "omg, how dare they do maint during NA primetime" whining behind in FFXI like... five years ago. Not playing for one night isn't going to kill anyone. There's plenty of other things to do.
I must have the worst work schedule, because maintenance starts right as I get off work lol. The good thing is, I need a whole night to catch up on my DVR'd shows anyways.
Oh americans thinking the world revolves around them.
copy/paste from my translation thread
First one is related to tomorrow's patch so thought would be good to have it here.
Removed below, Camate got the official translation up

Hello,
Currently the dev team also knows that there are times you can’t easily join contents, please let me explain how we are going to address this matter.
Greatly lowering repair costs and Dark Matter prices.
We will greatly lower the overall repair costs and dark matter prices while emphasising high level.
Add item level requirement for participation for high level dungeons.
We will be adding a minimum gear item level requirement when participating in high level instanced dungeons or primal battles, We will be adding a feature which shows the characters average gear item level in the character window.- パーティ募集ウィンドウの追加
Adding a party invitation window
We will be implementing a feature similar to a bulletin board where you can request for party members with players in your own world. When requesting, you will be able to put the dungeon name, role, level information.
(Detailed information to follow at a later time.)
First one will be implemented in 9/12’s maintenance, for 2&3 these are planned to be released post 2.1.

That item level score... Will it be visible for others or only for yourself? o.o
You mean like if someone checks you out? Doesn't say in that original text, but when joining end game content if your score is below whatever score set for that dungeon/content you're not going to be able to get in for sure. (unless it's an option someone clicks in Duty Finder to make sure the party meets that requirement)
It will probably be visible to others on inspection, and they actually had Ilvl visible in your character screen as noticeable from an alpha test screenshot. I have no Idea why they didn't carry that over in the first place, but it would have made people actually gear up appropriately for a lot of stuff people be entering the duty finder really undergeared for.
And I hope the party invitation board is similar to the one in 1.0. It worked wonders, and would have worked even more wonders had they actually properly explained how to go about using it both ways.
