Please fill the Lv15-30 gap in tank armor.

I've been working on getting my final tank class, MRD, to 30 as I want to get it to 50 to dump all tank gear that's <Lv50. I don't remember this being a problem, probably because I did PLD first, but it's a problem with MRD as they just can't take the damage as well. There's an annoying gap with Helmets and Leg Armor between Level 15 and Level 30, because of the Lv25 Heavy Plate set. The body+head are combined and legs+boots are combined with that set.

However, there is also Grand Company armors for Body, Hands, and Feet that are, IIRC, Level 24 but yet, there are no helmets, and no leg armors anywhere between Level 15 and Level 30 for Tank Classes, unless you get lucky enough at Level 28 to see an Aetherial Cotton Trousers or Steel Celata. My MRD was taking far more damage and it even led to a few deaths because of new healers not being able to keep me alive, but then I can hardly blame them when I was a Level 29 MRD with Level 15 Legs and Helmet.

This can easily be fixed by completing the set at the GC and/or adding a craftable solution or two for Level ~24.

Nope. Toto-Rak does not have its own set of drops, only aetherial stuff + weapons.... and the Lv25-ish aetherial set is the Heavy Plate set. You don't get an actual dungeon set until Brayflox (Cavalier, Lv32). So, between the partial set at Halatali (I'm not even sure tank armor drops in there; I've never seen it), Lv15 and.... Cavalier, there's just crafted and the only crafted between ~20 and 30, is the Heavy Plate set.

There's the Lv30 crafted and Lv32 Cavalier and that's it.

These all come from Toto-Rak, and other non-aetherial (which you could still use anyway?) items come from other similarly levelled dungeons...

Those are DoW, not Tank pieces (except for the weapon obviously which I already had). They have far less Defense than something that is for GLA PLD MRD WAR DRK only. Note how DRG and LNC are included. Those are "Half-tank" like scale mail.

In fact, I saw a DoW pair of legs drop in there.... it had worse defense than my Lv15 legs did, lol.

I mean is this really such an issue? dps can tank all content below stone vigil easily, and 15-30 is very low level content.

Personally i didnt find marauder any more "squishy" than pld at those levels either. In fact, they may as well be the same class at that point.

It is not much of an issue. I have tanked dungeons such as Halatali, Toto-Rak, and Hawkke Manor with pre-level 30 armour. It is no real problem as long as you have a half-decent healer.

There is no defensive difference between these two jobs at this early level (neither has a defensive cooldown outside of role actions, which both get). It's definitely just gear at this point.

What is your problem with the combined pieces anyway? They have the same defense as those two pieces combined.

Go into dungeons as your level 70 class unsync'd. Get all the loot you can ever want from them. Put them on your low level class. Don't need to craft/GC item at all.

The fact that they list LNC/DRG does not imply they have poor defense, take a closer look. The iron scale mail (level 23) is better than the iron plate (level 20) in STR, defense, and magic defense and the same VIT. The same also applies to the steel scale mail at 32 and one or two others in the low-mid 40s.
