Dear FFXIV Team
Could you please clarify some things about the ticket system? Last FanFest, as the primary purchaser, I had QR codes for each ticket. The other attendees using my extra tickets also received their individual QR codes via email, so we didn't necessarily have to check in together or meet up to distribute tickets. However, this new system we're using this year doesn't ask for the other attendees' email addresses, and their customer FAQ says that we need to contact you regarding the details of the "will call" process.
So my questions, s'il vous plaît.
- When will the ticket system be locked down so that names can no longer be updated?
- Will attendees who purchased tickets together have to pick them up together?
- If one of my friends fails to reimburse me for his ticket, will he be able to pick up his badge just by virtue of his name being on the ticket?
- The FanFest site FAQ says "IDs are checked at the door and badges are given only to persons matching photo identification." (A) Will real names be printed on badges? (B) Will ID be checked for the primary purchaser only, or for each person on the purchase?
That last one might sound silly, but I don't even know the full real names of half the people I play with. Even out-of-game we just call each other by character names. Some people don't like giving out their full real names for reasons.
