As a healer main, I do not recommend it.
Been playing at 120FPS since Shadowbringers and never noticed there was an issue with physics. I'll have to do some A/B testing.
Would visiting another Datacenter help with this? Had a similar issue a friend reported to me today and moving over to Crystal temporarily seemed to solve that problem.
Each time I've hopped into the queue for Balmung, I'm at 646 with it unmoving. Quitting and restarting hasn't resulted in any movement either.
Naw, I read your statement as Re: Gilgamesh. I was trying not to add yet-another-thread about it. :P
Because it's also super-easy to take code from 2010 that wasn't intended to run on AWS or Azure and slap it on there.
Just have to keep trying until it permits it. I think if you see your character data, you end up with that request going through.
Still seeing 3001 on Balmung right now.
I think people are splitting hairs too much anyway. We as players are doing what we can to get connected, the ball is in SE's court.
I got in to play Sage, and I am absolutely loving it. I haven't touched any of the MSQ since I'm trying to get it to 80 before I start it.
I can't confirm this as 2002 happens even with character data loaded.
I expect things will be semi-stable by Christmas. Even then, this happens even with the best of talent and hardware availability.
It is mildly impressive that the world servers have been as stable as they are. Yesterday did well enough.
I recently started up Morrowind again. Got XIV in a window for the time being.
Yeah, I don't agree that it's an "unstable connection" that's causing the 2002's.
I did the same and just had to keep trying. Thankfully it doesn't seem to require logging into a world server, so just spamming it should be okay.
Same problem for Balmung right now.
This isn't a unique problem. It happens to every game with every expansion.
Travel expenses will be higher this year as a result of it moving out of driving range, but hopefully it'll be a decent experience. Hotel's already booked. Let's see what happens in the next couple...
24 hours seems generous.
My Situation:
I purchased FFXIV originally back in the 1.0 days, a collector's edition from the failed version. Since the relaunch, I had used the standard Windows Client. Once it was released on...
People are assuming there's more to this "version" and "launch" check than what htey've said.
That being said, while I can understand the frustrations given the difficulty ZOS had (and both ZOS...
I spent about an hour looking for something to grab.. couldn't find anything that was valid for the promotion I wanted.
I know of a handful here and there.. though to be frank, it isn't their focus. Does it happen? Yes. Is it "endorsed"? Eh.. not really.
