This right here is part of the problem, having higher gear in t1,2 and 4 allows players to flat-out ignore several mechanics of those turns - such a thing is simply not possible in t5

Personally love the lack of forced composition for pre-made alliances, I see no problem with 20 Healers 3 Tanks 1 DPS :p

That's in the game already. Passing it requires 2 things:
1.A good connection (having someone d'c during fireballs in t5 or voice in t7 is rather annoying) and
2. Paying attention

This is only true for pre-50 gears, as long as the equip level is the same you can glamour something higher. AF1 being lv50 equip IIRC can be glamoured to i110 gear as it's also lv50 equip...

Nope it's ACN. ACN is also on all caster gear (Vanya,Cashmere,Levi,T5,Allagan + High Allagan) so BLMs+SMNs have no excuse for mixing up the 2 abbreviations

1. There are 3 separate aggro meters, if a DPS pulls aggro it's their own damn fault.
2. Tell the BLM to get and use Quelling Strikes.

Absolutely not. Each and everyone one of those mechanics can be recovered from in case of accidental death (yes, even twisters)
Removing those mechanics would merely replace t5 as a roadblock with...
