im not sure it would, Planetside 2 current uses serverside hit prediction at a much higher tick rate than 3, i imagine the strain on that would be much more taxing than just movement in this, but...

Server prediction using client timestamps could fix any current issues with lag and movement.

Reserving instance? Haven't had that since they nerfed speed runs.

actually no, it doesn't know you're moving because it has a tickrate of 3, so anybody even with a ping of zero will experience upto 333ms of lag when doing anything, eg moving out of red shit,...
